Will be going to Tokyo and Osaka, but have not yet planned the Osaka Itinerary. Please review my Tokyo Itinerary, thanks. I'll be staying at Shinjuku area.

Day 1:
- Arrival at 9.50am
- Lunch at Ichiran Ramen
- Shopping @ Takashimaya, Isetan, Lumine 2
Is the Government building worth a visit?
And are there any soft serve ice cream in the Shinjuku area?
- Dinner: Musashi @ Shimbashi station
- Maybe Ginza at night?

Day 2:
- Breakfast at hotel
- Shopping at Harajuku : Takeshita Street
- Lunch at Kyushu Jangara Ramen
- Find crepe to eat
- Shopping at LaForet, etc.
4pm: Shibuya Station
Dinner: Midori Sushi
Or is Uoriki Kaisen Sushi better?

Day 3:
Any suggestions for breakfast?
- Imperial Palace
- Lunch: Tokyo Ramen Street (Rokurinsha)
- Asakusa: Sensoji Temple
- Tokyo Skytree?
- Dinner: Uoriki Kaisen sushi @ Shibuya?

Day 4 would be Osaka

metropolitan gov building is good if u like observatories. and it is free too. since u are in the area, just go up for a look?

looks like ur itinerary is focused mainly on food. cant help u with that coz I haven't been to any of those restaurants u listed.

no plans for some sightseeing such as meiji shrine, Tokyo tower, odaiba? meiji shrine is in harajuku, so can just slot it in day 2

Will appreciate if anyone can help me with some questions.

1. JR 7 days pass cover NEX narita express and almost all the train services in Tokyo?

2. Is it possible to do a day trip to Nagoya and back to Tokyo?

yes, JR pass covers NEX. it covers all JR trains in tokyo, but not metro or subway lines.

nagoya is about 2hr by shinkansen from tokyo, so it is possible. any particular reason for going nagoya? what are u planning to visit there?

Thanks for your reply!

JR line is talking about Chuo line all those right??

Ah...Actually I have no idea what is in Nagoya. Just because will be getting the JR pass to go Kyoto and have a day in between before going to Kyoto so thinking of going to Nagoya.

My plan is actually like this.

Day 1 - Tokyo
Day 2 - Tokyo and Nagoya
Day 3 - Kyoto
Day 4 - Kyoto
Day 5 - Kyoto
Day 6 - Tokyo
Day 7 - Back to SG

yup, JR lines such as Chuo line and Yamanote line.

y not visit Osaka since u are going to Kyoto?
and u only have 3 days in Tokyo. Tokyo itself would have enough places to occupy ur 3 days

9 days i would recommend just sticking to kanto area or kansai area instead of both. there are enough attractions and places in each region to explore to occupy the 9 days. it is time consuming and expensive to travel between the 2 region.

it is a bit rush, especially if u are planning to visit theme parks coz each will take a whole day. 1 day for kyoto is not enuf, u will need at least 2-3 days to cover the main attractions.

maybe u can list out the place u want to visit, then see if the number of days allocated is enuf.

Day 1 - Tokyo (landing Haneda on 30th Nov 2015, 6:15am)
Day 2 - Tokyo / Head to Osaka ard 10am
Day 3 - Osaka
Day 4 - Osaka
Day 5 - Osaka
Day 6 - Osaka /Head back to Tokyo late afternoon.
Day 7 - Tokyo
Day 8 - Tokyo
Day 9 - Tokyo
Day 10 - Tokyo
Day 11 - Morning flight back to Sg

Activities will be mostly finding good food to eat, shopping and also visiting USJ and DisneySea plus a bit of sightseeing at both Osaka and Tokyo.

For the Tokyo to Osaka and return, issit advisable for me to get the 7 days JR Pass or just buy the Shinkansen tickets when I am there?

7-days JR pass will be worth it coz the cost of the shinkansen for round trip between tokyo and osaka would already be close to the cost of the pass.

since u are going with a kid, u might want to consider disneyland instead of disneysea because the rides in disneyland is cater more for kids. odaiba is a good place to bring kids. got legoland, madame tussaude and life-size gundam.
for osaka, u can also consider bringing ur kid to osaka aquarium. a day trip to nara for the deer park shld be fun for the kid too.

Day 2, 31 Oct:
- Shibuya, Jiyugaoka, Shinjuku, Nankano Shopping Center, Akihabara
[too packed. Shibuya + Shinjuku would have taken a whole day. Nakano + Akihabara can also take a whole day if u are an anime fan. if u can planning to buy lots of stuff, then maybe put these places at the end of the trip so u dun have to carry ur stuff to Osaka and back.]

Day 3, 1 Nov:
- Tsukiji Market, Harajuku, Meiji Shrine, Omotesando, Roppongi Hills & Mori Towers (if there is time)
[u may want to rearrange ur itinerary and grp nearby places together. for example, Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Ikebukuro are near each other]

Day 4, 2 Nov:
- DisneySEA

Day 5, 3 Nov:
- Ueno Park, Ikebukuro, Ginza
[any reason for visiting Ueno park on day 10 again? u can put Ginza after Tsukiji market coz it is walkable from Tsukiji to Ginza]

Day 6, 4 Nov:
- Take approx 9am train to Osaka
- Cup noodle museum, Namba area
- Accom - would like to stay in a ryokan. Cant decide between Hotel Ichiei or Kaneyoshi Ryokan. Any recommendations?

- Should it be a day trip, or spend the night in Kyoto instead?
[a bit rush to pack so many places in a day. suggest u have another day for Kyoto. can make two trips to Kyoto if u dun want the hassle of changing accom coz Kyoto is only 30min from Osaka]

Day 9, 7 Nov:
- Back to Tokyo (arrive at around 2pm)
- Free and easy

Day 10, 8 Nov:
- Ueno Park, Ameyoko, Asakusa, Sensoji Temple, Odaiba, Tokyo Tower

Day 11, 9 Nov:
- Free and easy
- 5pm head to Narita Airport for 8.50pm flight

comments above.
generally I think u are squeezing too many things in a day. try to keep to 2 or 3 places a day so u can enjoy each place at a relax pace.

it will be worth it to get a 7-day JR pass to cover the shinkansen to Osaka and back.
