Anyone keen to join for 3 days snow skiing in Hokkaido, and 1/2 days in Sapporo? In early december 2016.
Don't mind any gender.

Hi, first trip to tokyo in early Jan 2017with a toddler. What do you think of this itinerary? Any places suitable for a 3yo? Also, will it be ok to wear (top) extra warm heat tech, cotton jacket, down jacket, (bottom) extra warm heat tech and jeans , heat tech socks and sneakers ?

y not visit sky tree on day 2 since u are already going asakusa? and if u dun have time for tokyo station on day 2, can always do it on day 5 coz tokyo station is very near to ginza

[seems a bit rush to be visiting so many places in a day. asakusa+skytree is probably about half a day gone. ueno park + ameyoko can take half a day also. u may have to drop tokyo dome.]

Day 3 will drop out Tokyo Dome as per your suggestion. It was more of a "if possible, will try to go"

Day 5 will be hanging around Mount Fuji area

Day 7 is more of a free day for me to visit places that I didn't manage to cover or places that I might have overlooked. Any good suggestions?

Thanks bro s7460597! Fuunji is the main objective if we are not tired on the first day and is willing to que but I've keyed in your recommendations just in case we are feeling tired and don't want to walk so much on our first day.

Prepare to queue for Fuunji. There's another alternative which is shrimp-based stock. Check out https://tabelog.com/en/tokyo/A1304/A130401/13120708/ which is located behind Takashimaya. Might be nearer for you if you are short of time.

You can spend 1 whole day in Yokohama. Minato Mirai has plenty of shopping and sightseeing. You can walk to Chinatown and explore their famous Motomachi shopping street.

Just avoid the usual lunch and dinner hours and it shouldn't be too long. The last time I passed by in the afternoon there was around 10 people. I think it was about 5 but i was heading somewhere.

Haven't been to Japan and hope to cover Osaka, Tokyo, Hakone and Koyoto. How many days in average will be sufficient? What is the best order of visit so that I do not go back and forth to onee place. If take open jaw flight which airport should I touch down and depart?

To cover those places, I would say 7-8 days is the minimum and 14 days for a more comfortable trip rather than touch-and-go. If you plan to travel to Japan again, you can group Kansai region in one trip and Kanto region in the next one.

For open jaw, I would recommend arriving at Osaka first and depart from Haneda Tokyo. The latter has more places to shop.
