yes some folks prefer wifi egg, but i often dont join my wife shopping trips, so having our own sim is preferred.

Cant seem to get my esim working. Do we turn ON both primary and esim? Or turn OFF my primary? Chosen softbank for airalo or kddi, cant get a connection.

depends on your mobile, some can support dual SIM active some can't. if doesn't work, move voice+data over to eSIM & disable physical SIM

i keep primary on for voice and sms as i sometimes gets otp. if you don't have this need or wants to turn on as and when required, you can off the primary.
