I got a free Airalo eSim with 1GB Data from Singsaver, valid till 31 Oct 2023 when i bought my travel insurance from there. Anyone wants it? If so, PM me and i will send the code for redemption.

Edit*: Taken. Do provide your experience of using Airalo although they are more ex. lol

usually which sim card you will get for 11 days? Unlimited?

I've used both ubigi and simba super roam for my last trip. Ubigi is e-sim and simba needs to purchase and activate 2-3 days before your trip starts. I'm not a heavy IG user so 10gb is ok for me. My wife managed to max out hers on day 9 doom scrolling while I drove.

I am thinking to get either Airalo or Ubigi since both support in app top up. Which one is better in terms of coverage?
I end up signing for Ubigi. Hope it is good since its on docomo.

with my big group & long drives, i dont want to risk running out of data. we will b there 12 days

will hotspot to others in my group, & sometimes in my group, some may inadvertently upload/download videos

if just me n SO, we can control .. but bigger group, not sure

from my Msia day trips, 12hrs usage (on navi & some googling) would need about 300 MB a day
Buy at Airports in Japan from a regular Japanese Telco... get the Unlimited Data SIM card.
I see so many people buy cheap-cheap SO MANY problems LOL!

Don't see whats wrong with the cheaper choice, most of the problem are with over usage and underestimating how fast one can use up data. Had used $20 sim for 10GB 15days with no issue.
