Can i know why google.maps use so much data? U using it for navigation?

Navigation and “Live View” which uses the phone camera to show a virtual arrow pointing you to the right direction. Quite helpful at times, not always needed.

Ive always used unlimited data in japan. But this time i wanna use the free roaming data in my sim plan, mainly for google maps. So I'm surprised to see the high usage.

does ICC sim cards work on non apple and non samsung phones??

i went down to buy and the person working there asked me if my phone is xiaomi and she said people been saying it dont work for them. i told her mine is oneplus and she said oneplus also cannot

i have used ICC card before on my oneplus and it was fine so wondering is it some new issue with their sim cards???

I think it’s just a SIM card right? Perhaps it’s the country you’re visiting operates on certain bands which your phone does not support?

Hi all, will be travelling to Japan in 2 weeks. There are many esims and sim cards around. Im thinking of ICC sim cards / Mobal or Ubigi esim. More inclined towards Mobal as its 50GB for 30days.. My trip is 16days.. Anyone used Mobal esim before? Cant really find reviews on that. Hope to get recommendations and feedback. Thanks

simba in JP is sufficient for WA, X. maps, googling, translation, email, IG, WA video calls.

Apac doesn’t include Japan. For Japan, it’s under Int roaming at 2GB only, same as Eight at $8
