Aiyoh, no need to get defensive here. We all have to agree that different people have different preference/perception of sound. Let's all just enjoy the process and not be so hard up on what is best or what is not.

it is not about being defensive or what now. Member of the trade commenting and bashing on brands they do not carry vs a consumer that is whole heartedly looking for the best custom out there. The rest can be the judge.

I think you tune the port to lowest should be close to 13 right? yesterday was there trying lots of stuff. but from jh only tried the roxanne.

I love the roxanne... But u nvr noe how they sound until u have a custom on ur own.... Which is y i dun do reviews or comparison to other demo unit.... Want to do review make a pair of custom then compare not off the demo...

yea agreed whole heartedly. but usually custom should be better than demo. finger crossed. waiting for your review soon

I'm at Mook now. Auditioned the Roxanne earlier with bro Sid. He can't tahan the sibilance, but for me still ok coz I'm using HD800 and TH600 at home.
Compared to my 334, I do find the Roxy bass hits harder, mids a bit recessed, especially the upper mids and the treble a bit rough and sharp. So if you like the smooth high of 334, this is definitely not the iem for you. It still maintains the aggressive nature of JH house sound in the top end. For smoother and extended treble, so far nothing can beat Uncle Wilson's C435, but I haven't heard the Noble's ciem, so can't comment on them. All IMO only, so feel free to disagree with me.
Jerry was ever so helpful in answering my queries and he did answer that all orders for Roxy during the BF sale, will most prob ship out in mid or end Jan.
That's all for now, time for me to disturb Taeyonie again

Oh ya i talked to jh about cables. He said the new cable is kevlar... I guess shielded using kevlar.... Inside is a copper silver mix instead of the standard copper from the normal 2pin cables... He also said it would be exciting to see pure silver on them lol...

Yea is Kevlar shielded. Same as the magnus-1 cable. Sturdy and flexible.

Jh said can he just has to terminate off the bass adjustment part it will be 8 seperate cables just nice for the jh3a pins and update a firmware on the jh3a good to go... Eta next year

Wait until I receive the custom. Anyway, I want more treble energy than my 334, so can't say I'm dissapointed
