I am considering purchasing the Roxanne but i do need some advice, I am considering between getting the Universals and Customs because of the fact that i have not had a customs before therefore i am a little uneasy to try that on such an expensive equipment and when i do get them and i prefer the universal fit i would regret. Could any one advice me on the pros and cons on getting a universal vs customs?

Another issue is it more worth it to buy directly from JH if i were to buy customs as to buying from Jaben what is the rough cost difference? the Roxanne cause USD$1599 where as jaben cost SGD$2488 that is a huge differences when coverted to SGD? However taking to account that i have to make my own impressions at 50 bucks and the shipping cost is it worth the money to buy from JH directly?

Just take the leap if u want it
I doubt universal can have a better fit than custom
Shipping by air cost quite a lot too

Thought is the other way round. Custom resale usually takes a bigger hit as the next owner still gotta spend additional money on his own impression, shipping and reshelling cost. And since this roxanne comes with proprietory connectors and bass controls, if JH themselves don't do the reshelling, don't think the new owner is gonna get back in its original state. It's a much bigger risk compared to its universal counterpart. Whereas the universal one, just shave maybe 200-300 off sure will have ready buyers.

It is still cheaper when i send back for refit using the slowest shipping option...

I just sent my JH16 today via fedex, rather amusing as they charged me international economy when i op for international piority, saved $30 and reach by friday morning instead of monday late afternoon...

Out of curiousity did you try Fitear? All the fanboys been trying hard to splash blood at Roxanne with funny reviews and you still wanna get Roxanne?

If you are not in a hurry I'd suggest you just wait till ppl start receiving their Roxanne's and give proper impressions esp by reknown reviewers on headfi.
