This morning stopped by MBS toilet / AC mall to cool off, wash face etc.

0940h. Heat index temp 43.7 deg C

There is no MBS station from NEA. This one is they ownself site one, ie it is not in a weather station cabinet with double roof and sited way from huge concrete / asphalt slabs that would affect.

But in a way, this accurate displays the real and actual conditions at MBS if you were running there, and probably @ GBTB and MB areas.

Sembawang station taking the crown. 33.7 deg C 68% RH.
Heat index 44.9 deg C.

But this is not super unexpected. In the 2015 consolidated el nino thread, during 2016 the intermonsoon period, there were transients spiking into the 45-47 deg C heat index range.

Philippines went to 55-56 deg C heat index. (and some people have died as well)

Actually now not humid so if stay under shelter or high floor don't really feel the heat. Humidity now only around 60%.

@GlassDoor Remember you saying looking to get EVO SL when on offer. Not sure if this price is to your liking.

Lazada seller Sports Zone. Think they have a physical shop at Kallang Wave Mall.
Only this colorway but most sizes available.

Qiaodan Feiying Plaid 3.0 going for $161.60 on shopee. Cheaper if you stack coins and Shopee VIP membership gets you 3% cashback in coins. Pretty good deal considering you pay around ~$140 on PDD after GST and admin fee.

Bro i thought the whole point is to run topless in front of alot of people why you the other way round lol. But seriously, its my usual routine to start at around 5.30am and end by 7am. Usually can get in 10-12km but past couple of runs have to abort after 8-9km. Constant elevated HR and running form gone. Also getting damn blisters on my toes due to poor running form. Think next week onwards gonna retreat back to treadmill running in the gym.
Ppl like me bb, dun dare to ever run topless

In the past when I was wearing cotton t-shirts to run, I went topless because I hate the heavy t-shirts when drenched.

Now I'm wearing proper running t-shirts bought from decathlon. They are very light weight and cooling.

I don't go topless anymore even though my body is more rip now than 10 years ago. 😆

another 12.5km run @ 6:30 av pace effort in the Lining Red Hare 9U. Slowly the midsole is feeling less stiff, and at the same time, the mid section of the feet feels less tight. Great shoe running at paces from 6:30 and faster. Hopefully midsole will continue to get better as times goes by as shared by reviewer in this youtube. Mine has reached 70km today.

How about starting with basic (weighted) calisthenics exercises. Will really give self-confidence one, also build more muscle in most cases (esp with improvement mindset). The muscles will then slowly but surely melt away fats....as one of the major factor.

My kid recently also lost a fair amount of fats/weight this way. Somemore on the long rides with me, we still carb load night before and whacked carbs during session as if there is no tomorrow.

I've been working on coach to lose weight for the past one year but tbh I dun listen to him about dieting cause I love eating too much so can't be helped haha. The reason I switched from Soh is cause I wanted to focus on weight loss but then I don't listen on dieting so I guess I am just paying for planned training haha

My kid also still eats a fair bit, but really cut down on the carbs on non-training days. This way you can still eat the good stuffs.
Unfortunately, all the fast foods junk food and the worstest hawker foods need to cut out. Either that or twice a year max.

eg Actually chicken rice chicken noodles still can eat, but no add oil no add soya sauce .....minimal skin.

Also, one trick is to eat more protein.....just to fill up the satieting effect so that you dont feel hungry to eat other stuff.
eg 3-4 eggs for breakfast..... Do this for 2 weeks and you'll fall nicely into routine.

Once you locked into a routine and that feels normal, you can sustain liao.
