Today is my rest day, but looks like a good day to run later. Sky is dark now here in SK, with strong cooling wind. Likely to rain. Just hope this carry on til tomorow when I start my first run of the week.
Still recovering from Friday heat exhaustion, so it's a full day rest today as schedule.
Rain stopped n tempted to run later evenin, hope air pressure nt high.

Anyone here using or used Asics Nimbus 24 b4 ah? Its on flash sale on Shopee & just nice got my size. After all the coupons discount, will cost $83 nia. My last Nimbus was in 2018 coz it got heavier and heavier until it was very tiring on the ankle, so I stopped using Asics and went around trying other brands (on Adidas now). I know the current one is Nimbus 25, but I'm ok with 1 season older.
I have nimbus 26. I think 24 should be fine. It is lighter than 23-26. If cheap, just whack.

Since I am a fellow bbfa, I luv thick and heavy shoes.

I just cancelled my order actually. Didn't realize its already 2 seasons old and 26 is out. Will be going Japan soon, think I will just get 26 from there lah. How is it ah? Is it still very heavy and chunky, thus a drag on the ankles? My mileage isn't high anymore, each run about 4+ to 5km nia. Was thinking will Cumulus be a better fit for such lower mileage.

Try GT2000. Good balance between weight and cushion. It’s what I use for my usual runs.

Wondering how it feel like running on such cooling weather :s8:
a sudden change from humid SG to below 20s is a huge change of freshness. easier to run. Training in SG will help one run better in cooler conditions.
once you get used to it, its pretty much the same. But one needs to get used to run in strong winds, a very different challenge. Strong dry winds in winter is lagi worse. Have to wear super thick and cover head, ears, neck, fingers, etc. Nose may sniff regularly due to low temperature. Lips dried up fast. etc

I checked the weight is about 290g. Definitely it is on the heavier side for me. Now most of the running shoes I aim below 250g.

Maybe u can try saucony range 😉 like kinvara , glide etc ..
Currently I am wearing endorphins speed 3. Weight is less than 230g but this price is on the high side .
