its not him, he just posted a video showing the incident which is similiar to his near miss incident tat almost hit him n his son.

on top of tat, he happen to read the description of the afternath of the video which is really wtf moment.
so irresponsible on the driver or even the police side

I have seen the vid before a few weeks ago, but upon reading one of the comments last night and digged into the description of the YT vid, then did i know of the full story behind it.

Coz usually you watch such vids, you'd quickly conclude the driver sure wld be taken to task once report is made, coz there is injury. Video evidence, got plate, no need to run one.

And btw, i believe in such cases you can only LLST claim against your personal insurance, hopefully got private hospital coverage etc. And also personal accident insurance (which i do not have).

Just now slipped and fell, luckily no biggie, just a small bit of lasceration, shd not have scar

Fugged type Saucony Pro 3 XT900 outsole.

When ground is even a bit wet, need to wear Pumagrip already.

Lesson learnt, dont be super siao on and run during light rain esp if you are training to hit a race goal. Just totally not worth to take the risk. Last year due to such injury type it made me out of action for 3 whole weeks. Even the 4th week i was taking it really easy.
Luckily minor injury. Get well soon

Ended my 42 days consecutive running streak, after it rained on Thur and i decide to take a break.
My left knee has been giving problems recently, not sure how much longer i can run without suffering a really bad injury... YOLO !

Come to think of it, i have no Nike shoes. heh
20240503 13degC Nike Epic React Flyknit
Coros:
12.38km @ 7’07” av (1:28:17) HR 149av 160max +
9.01km @10’09” av (1:31:27) HR 128av 156max
Apple:
21.29km @ 8’27” av (2:59:59) HR 138av 163max
IMG-4323.jpg

within 6 days, i have ran almost 4 HM. This is the most i have ever ran/walked In a week. Body told me to stop running halfway, ended up walking some 4-5km.

A side note on the Nike Epic React Flyknit, which I have retired for walking purpose after using it for more than 4 years. It is a really nice shoe to run on, but must control within 10km. Feels great to the feet, very decent bounce, a good balance between firm and soft. Super stable and light.
I have a pair of Epic React Flyknit since 2019 and was supposedly retired. Did a run early this month and still feel it is actually a very good pair of shoes. I won’t hesitate to get another pair if it’s available. The subsequent models do not seem to get the same feel (lightweight, fit, bouncy yet firm, stable, versatile, etc). Good for walking and running.

Take care and recover well. Have you tried if those adhesive strap give any help to your left knees? Seen a doctor?

I am using, it's good because you have plenty of storage to put a lot of stuffs but the con is it may weigh you down when running unless you're not aiming for PB.

Also putting more weight can helped you train better. And I like it as it's very secure when running.

Anyway, I am also ordering the waist one recommended by bro xllms which I had been eyeing for sometime reason being it's more compact but then I don't know how secure is it and how to put a water bottle 🤔

But then, for water bottle, I had a good solution. Can buy those collapsible type like below :
