Think it has always been like that? Only FM has finisher tee.

10 km and HM always first to sold out first. For popular marathons usually only FM has last minute slots.

42Km, I don't think I am ready for it

I only applied for the HM

Wait till I trained until my leg does not belong to me then I will go for the FM

Maybe next year take it in other country

The only thing i'm noticed was $600 for ekiden. Bloody expensive haha.

My take is yes. I did minimalist, not barefoot just sandals and minimalist shoes with low drop and thin midsole for a few years before super shoes existed.
But need to transit gradually with low mileage and slowly progress, else your Achilles tendon will injured quite jialat.
You will know it works when your calves aches. It is just DOM.
