Nice, who is that singer?
did you stay back till the last lucky draw?
i was at the right side of the stage together with those staff, sat on the chair…

I didn't because I didn't participate in the lucky draw.

I just stand on the side n watched them announce the top 3 men n women 10Km run. Then collect the free hotdog bun n drink and went for dinner liao.

Top guy was turning back when I was 650m from the U-turn point. Should be high 30s I assume.

From that point I started to slow down a lot, but managed to keep my lead until one guy overtook me at the end, but I got back my position by outkicking him in the last 100m 😂

I saw the top guy when I was only at 1/3 of the distance, not even 50% :s13:

He looked young, I think maybe early 20s ?

You 50% ahead of me :s13:

That guy is young, runs quite smoothly. I only remembered the 3rd or 4th guy struggling a lot. Probably ran at 5k pace for the first segment and struggling afterwards. 🤣

2nd guy was just encouraging other runners, found that quite nice.
Yes, on the left side of the stage. Can choose hotdog or chocolate donut 🍩 :lick:

I only didn't get the free banana 🍌
I got the banana, but didn't end up going for hotdog/donut. I got my bag near the banana place and just took one banana and left afterwards
Wow, bro, actually I am I think behind me about the most 80 plus ….
but I am very happy I did it.
and not feeling any tired too.
now checking any run around say Oct ..
I am planning to go for the pocari sweat run, but it's on last day of August
October got Garmin Run

https://www.garmin.com.sg/event/2024/garmin-run/

This one I need a lot more endurance as I am going for HM.

Just check it's sold out liao.

Omg, it's 5 am 😱
Makes sense for Garmin Run to start at that time. It's a good prep leading into SCMS.

For the HM, you've to run slower than what you are running today. Need to build up your long runs to 16km or more, if you want to run HM.

The feel from most is this time distance is short. Not as bad as last year, that one literally on the spot you now can't be 10km. This year is the feel is some what short, my watch show 9.52km.

Back to do route mapping to boost confidence for our gut feel. Indeed it is short. my guesss, actual distance, if you run in the middle all the way would be 9.65km.
