If you're addicted to running, that's good as long as you don't get yourself injured from overtraining. Have fun, don't push too hardInfact why I run is because running can really lose weight fast especially long distance run.
I noticed that my weight can easily dropped 0.5 Kg after I run.
Hovers between 23 and 24.5What's your BMI ?
Do you take supper ?

Nope. After I run in the evening, will usually just have a glass of unsweetened soymilk

Actually alot of runners think this way. Run high volume and anyhow eat. Priority in this order running>makan>health. The more the merrier but I noticed that after I run 10Km, I can see the sudden obvious weight loss.
Of course, you also must control your diet.
If your active calories is >1000, then you can eat MacDonald![]()
All of them here, will not be getting their HM PB. This is call enjoy your run instead of chasing for PB.

I have no issue when come to eating and then run, so long as not to fill up to full. munch bit here and there is fine for me. But I can't comment on other people, coz everyone react differently. Even for energy gels, some runner will have GI issue, that's why some will only stick their own tried and preferred brand rather than use the 'free' ones from organizer. I am ok with any brands, so I plan my refueling with the help of the refuel station by the organizer so as not to burden with the weight of carrying extra gels.I guess it's a good morale booster for them if not after timing and just aiming to more or less finish. And it's really yummy, i tried before different country ver (babi guling) in Bali.
Only issue is that not sure if it is good for the GI while running......you shd have more experience in this, digestion during running and resting state is totally different?
Coz last time i wanted to use stuff like snicker bars to fuel, value shop so cheap nia, why use energy gels?
Then read that it's not a good idea, even if it is pre-race 1hr to 30 mins prior. Too much fat content.
Stick to stuff like gummy bears if wanna save money during long threshold training sessions, no issue one. Unless if it is really low RPE sessions and timing is not a big concern. Cheapest is DIYed sugar water but....... dont taste that good.
eat only 2 meals a day + 2 or 3 10km jogs in a week, u will find weight loss faster. The more the merrier but I noticed that after I run 10Km, I can see the sudden obvious weight loss.

there was once i fasted for 36hours then go for 11km jog without any intake, speed was noticeable slower by 1 or 2 mins more per km.I have no issue when come to eating and then run, so long as not to fill up to full. munch bit here and there is fine for me. I don't know about fat content being bad for race, but for endurance running, some runners use peanut butter as refueling since these type of runs are mostly zone 2 or 3, fat burning zone and also not to disrupt the fat burning process with sugar, coz we are training our body to burn fats with these activities. Race is another strategy, coz we are not training anymore but gunning for best time, so any quick release energy (gel) will be used.
I was told by my Garmim Watch to do recovery run at this pace for infact 20 minutes run only for today but I run more than 20 minutes.
