Maybe too late for your current injury. I find this is useful. For my first injury, the hospital uses those expensive 3M transparent dressing that is able to withstand shower. But they are expensive. So I hunted in shopee for China alternative and founds these. They perform as good as the 3M. but you need some skills to apply. And they are cheap enough to make multiple mistakes. Also you can use your own padding with the china tranparent dressing. I use Bactigras and gauze to soak up the oozing liquid. The china one abit troblesome, need a pen knife to cut line so you can peel off the non adhesive layer from both side after applying. Need to cut the right depth. But practice makes perfect and they are so much cheaper than 3M.

Below is a random seller I anyhow search for. there may be cheaper seller out there.

Thanks for sharing. 👍

Kind of similar to those used in hospital. Touch wood, no chance to use again. 😄

The problem is my right knee 🤔

After my right achilles, then my knee not really good liao.

The flexibility on my right leg not good and the knee area feeling a twisting sensation when walking or jogging and it's ache suddenly 🤔
That's the issue with running high load with current injury not fix yet. When you run with injury, your other part of the body takes more load as you try to adjust and lighten the load of your injured Archille's. Prolong period the other part of the leg with get injured.
Not to say cannot run with injury, in fact I believe running with injury will heal it faster, just that you can't run with the same training load, need to regress your distance, pace, duration and if possible run on stadium track.

OIC, can try next time ba....for bigger wounds. It shd be useful. Coz the normal gauze if stick then gone case already. So usually prefer to leave it opened, usually i'd wash it often (soap and water) to prevent infection.

Oh, then dont run first for the next 1 month then slowly progress up. Do other things like very light stationery cycling or brisk walking.

You wanna try strengthening first? Just the hamstrings, anterior tibialis, calves and then glutes. 10 mins alternate days can do already. Dont have to gun till failure, as long as you can feel mild discomfort ok already, is already very useful.

Why dont pick up racewalking also. From my previous experience, it is really good to boost cardio and generally as good as running but without the impact / injuries. (still can get injured if anyhow, like if you anyhow raise the distance without following 5-10% rule)
BTW it is racewalking, not brisk walking. Racewalking you can progress till 4-5 min/km during intervals/"sprints".
My racewalking sprint i trained until around 4:10 min/km, i can tell you it is a crazy fast twitch stimulus. Can really preserve any remaining type II fast twitch / motor units.

Going to buy the transparent medical tape with my next $3 shopee voucher. heh...... sure will come, i have 3 accounts.

BTW, one more thing, i feel that runners and esp cyclists really need to get that booster Dtap/Tdap shot. I think $70. Then if got falls, this is one thing off your mind liao. I have already gotten that after my first major fall.
Esp for those runners on Rail Corridor, the risk is inherently higher for that location vs concrete jungle like MBS area.

That's why I wanted to try lesser cushion shoes, think maybe will be better for me for rotation.

I still can jogged but as what you said definitely not so fast and also my right leg tends to get tired faster.

See polyclinic and do x-ray, slowly rule out. You have so much time, can go through this (slow) route. Coz of your age can also request for physio. Then you will know the proper specific strengthening exercises to do and focus on.

But after that for sure the general ones all must do. Basically everything involving the legs, and followed by core (just do things like push ups ba...non specific and slower but it has many other benefits so 2 in 1)

You still run till your right leg tired? I think exercise easy now. No pushing till any part of your body tired.

When I was running with Achilles tendonitis, all my runs ended easy. Not a single tired session. got to be careful, while your strengthen an injured leg.
