Should be patience, felt tedious to run at that pace for almost an hour. Used to getting overtaken by old uncles and aunties already hahaIs it ego or patience problem? For me at first was the ego, then discard, and work on patience.
Week 2 of trying to run at zone 2. Reduced my pace further, but got impatient towards the end today
Same for me. By 7-8km, already fully primed. Can only go faster even without trying.Should be patience, felt tedious to run at that pace for almost an hour. Used to getting overtaken by old uncles and aunties already haha
indeed slow pace running has little to no momentum, felt need different set of muscles and strenuousSame for me. By 7-8km, already fully primed. Can only go faster even without trying.
Sometimes tried intentionally to hold the HR. Felt like kena internal injury and even more tired afterwards than fast runs.
Damn solid HR.Patience is key to lower your HR. I used to run at 6-7min/km as well when I came back from injury at around the same HR.

Have. Just be aware that bag queue was long for last year. Some didn't make it on time for the flag off. But doesn't matter if you are just racing your own base on net time. I think it might be better, as don't have to get slowed down by the jammed pack start line at the slope.Anyone going for income run tomorrow? Got unexpected "free entry". Can I check is there free bag drop?
Thanks. Will be going earlier to avoid the bag queue haha. Any elevation for the route or is it pretty flat?Have. Just be aware that bag queue was long for last year. Ran for few years also around this speed. No point trying to improve or do more distance. Someone encourage me to do marathon or half marathon but dont think I can
Really respect people can run marathon
Recently vo2 max increase from 50 to 55 after running a variation of runs, from slow run to fast run to sprints
I do 10x 100m 19sec up a slope. 5km for fast run and 10km for slow run at 6mins. The low high aerobic and anaerobic all within range nowThen try 1k, 1.5k, 1.6k, 3k, 5k, lor. If you want, 400m also can.
Just be a specialist 5km or 10km lor. Some people need ever changing goals to motivate to exercise. Else would just nuah and eventually give up being active. If you can self motivate, no need goals or challenge then good lor.![]()

Last year, paper cups provided. No major uphill. A small one at the helix bridge.Thanks. Will be going earlier to avoid the bag queue haha. Any elevation for the route or is it pretty flat?
Anyway,we don't need to hold our own cup for the hydration right? Cups provided at all hydration points?
