Should be patience, felt tedious to run at that pace for almost an hour. Used to getting overtaken by old uncles and aunties already haha
Same for me. By 7-8km, already fully primed. Can only go faster even without trying.

Sometimes tried intentionally to hold the HR. Felt like kena internal injury and even more tired afterwards than fast runs.

Patience is key to lower your HR. I used to run at 6-7min/km as well when I came back from injury at around the same HR.

Have. Just be aware that bag queue was long for last year. Some didn't make it on time for the flag off. But doesn't matter if you are just racing your own base on net time. I think it might be better, as don't have to get slowed down by the jammed pack start line at the slope.

Thanks. Will be going earlier to avoid the bag queue haha. Any elevation for the route or is it pretty flat?

Anyway,we don't need to hold our own cup for the hydration right? Cups provided at all hydration points?

Ran for few years also around this speed. No point trying to improve or do more distance. Someone encourage me to do marathon or half marathon but dont think I can

Really respect people can run marathon

Recently vo2 max increase from 50 to 55 after running a variation of runs, from slow run to fast run to sprints

Just be a specialist 5km or 10km lor. Some people need ever changing goals to motivate to exercise. Else would just nuah and eventually give up being active. If you can self motivate, no need goals or challenge then good lor.

Last year, paper cups provided. No major uphill. A small one at the helix bridge.
