I twisted my ankle while rushing for traffic light during an early morning run but I never stopped running and it's worsened through time.
I am still not fully recovered yet for sure so I can't speed while running for long but still manageable for easy run.

Which day u sprained it? If only yesterday or today, apply ice pack. Would like to suggest that you let it rest for 1 weeks. Do other training rather than running.

as we age, we recover slower, so do take care. would recommend you brace your ankle if you choose to continue with your runs.
do some ankle exercises to slowly strengthen your ankle whenever you can

I see the runs your posted since your reported your Achilles issue. it's the same distance as usual and pace. No regression.

Yes, I couldn't really speed cause it's will hurt my ankle.

That pace which I still be able to take it on my right leg.

Actually I used to but then therapist told me if still okay to run without bracing then better not to cause it will weaken your ankle.

You can wear brace if it alleviate the pain to allow you to run. But once healed or injury remove the brace so you can built up resilience.
Consistency is key for active recovery, more so than volume. It's better to do daily 1km or maybe 200m depends on your pain threshold at walking or slightly faster pace, rather than rest 3 days and do 8km at normal pace only to rest another 3 days.

But you confirm your ankle has no fracture? Coz at our age, osteopenia is very common, sometime a little twist or bump kenna hairline crack..

I used to buy cheap Xiaomi sport ear buds less than $50. U r right .all cant last . I guess it has no protection probably due to our sweat .

Then I bought jabra elite 7 pro for less than $190 in mar 2022. Until now it is still in use. So good that I bought another wan for $160. Last year I also bought shokz openrun mini for $130. As the product comes with 2 years warranty . I did go to service centre after 5 months to get it replaced as it was unable to charge and battery drain very fast. After that the 1 to 1 replacement So far so good .

Maybe can try tcm massage with acupuncture. After treatment rest for few weeks to get full recovered.

I had the same problem like yours sprained ankle. Dragged until eventually cannot hop, and having pain even when walking only.

The more u drag on, and since your method doesn't work at all, the more it might worsen, spoil all the plans and affect long term agility, strength and endurance.

I regretted why I didn't go for treatment sooner and let it rest well. Suffered for nothing and risking something more serious. By the way I did let it rest at first but it had never truly recovered until I went tcm. Some injuries are in the deep tissue that we are not even aware of and tot it has recovered when it is not. I hope yours not as bad as mine.

How about trying racewalking. 2-3k per day would do, that was what i did last time, good enough for the mind.
That is something in which at least 1 feet is touching the ground at all times, no flight time unlike running.
See if it helps.

It can help aerobically as well, neruomuscularly as well. Got movement, will do.
When i was racewalking for 2 years, the first time i transited to running (ie i never ran before for decades for middle/long distance) and did a TT round my rooftop of 1 round = 800mm, 2 rounds of 1.6k i stopwatched 6 mins 20 seconds.
That is a pace of 4:13, 2.4k equivalent of ~10:40. Not too shabby.

So it would benefit running one if that is one thing you love to do and dont wanna lose fitness. The last session you shared was a 10.78km run iirc, imo that is pretty long man.....and o understand your motivation to run but the thing has been dragging too long liao.

And our ages are more similar than different so at least this area we physiologically sama sama.
Then 3 months later, try running again.

Esp since cycling you dont wanna do.

Quite power actually. Amby (the old fella) was among the first fella/batch who called the WR out to question and i also posted 1 vid of an interview/podcast with him in it.....i remember that time last year.

Lance Armstrong tested clean for many many years as well. If not for tests done indirectly (eg masking agents), we would never have known. Mo Katir also got found out indirectly due to lies and irregularities with his alibi/whereabouts and missing drug tests.

I am obliged to believe that local gyms got a fair bit of PED amateur use as well, just a matter of dosage. But dosage most probably not as much as other countries (overseas got crazy egs that we dont see here)

I did actually tried TCM before and one time is really enough and I don't want to go for it again cause the pain is unbearable.

I think it's even worse than my sport therapy which I went.

Other than being very painful, was it effective to help u heal? The sports therapy seems not working very well for u. Eventually it should heal but how well it restore you to original state is also a consideration. Actually I also don't like tcm. But sometimes after trying (long enough) a method that is not effective, can consider to try alternative.

Not sure if TCM works for ankle sprain
I tried when I had a bad sprain on my right ankle more than 10years ago, for a year plus, had a few TCM including accupuncture, no real benefits for me.

Right ankle still have left over issues after all these years. Probably tougher since it’s an old injury. Few years back, did Xray, MRI, CT scans on this ankle, doctors and physiotherapists can’t find anything wrong with it.
Just hope yours can recuperate and recover well. Which is why my advise is to brace it and don’t sprain or aggravate again.
