The strap easy to loosen after sweat use watch better option

Runsohfast academy one is structure programme lol
actually what is the diff for structured and non structured? non structured means just do your own thing?

anyway have never used strap but can see how will loosen easily.

Although I use watch, I am really not sure if it is accurate

i'm looking at the garmin hrm-dual which has a replaceable strap.
i am just wondering if a programme around HRM will be more effective in training.

i am currently using an AI training programme that revolves around pace (same one as Ender).

do you guys use a HRM? is it overkill for a buibui training for marathon?
Are you referring to chest strap HRM? Then yes, I use them for accurate HR data. IS it necessary, not really.

But if you are doing MAF run, chest strap are useful, as they are more responsive when you change your intensity if you exceed the ceiling HR, and need to slow down. Wrist based optical HRM got to wait to longer time to see change when you lower your intensity.

Any idea how much his coaching cost? But looking at his last 7 weeks close to SCSM, many Marathon pace long run, very siong for old man.

what are the signs of over-training? does jelly leg count?

i did like 20mins of strengthen training yesterday and went for a 30mins Z2 run after that.
i woke up with jelly legs although it's a very very mild one.
When you run and start to cramp then you know you are pushing too much.

Wake up with jelly leg is not uncommon. In fact there is an argument to be made to keep training with lower intensity even when leg feels jelly to condition the body and mental to be able to push for marathons. Varying your strikes when running also helps a lot to prevent and minimize jelly legs.

oh i'm surprised about the condition and mental part but it makes sense. i skipped a day anyway because i want to reduce the risk of injury.

sigh i have a heat rash now and it's so itchy. not sure why i got it when i run mostly at night, i dont sweat alot and bathe after that.

I used to do the Hanson's method for marathon training and that was the reasoning given for running a few days in a row.

If you are prone to heat rash you might want to mix in some walking or slower heel strike recovery pace in your run to allow your body to cool from time to time. Nowadays I do mostly run walk for my jogs and I actually enjoy it much more this way.

Left foot feeling alright so far. I hope i'll feel less pain on it during Sunday but probably not going to go out hard. Just completing the race is all i ask for.

Time to collect race pack later once i reach hk, and maybe go for a shakeout run.
