yesterday I sent how to calibrate if not running on lane 1 but yeah lane 1 is much easier. Still good job. I ran for the first time after 2 days off but still light headed cause not fully recovered.
Take it easy, at least you still have some time before the race

This guy different case, last weekend won the 3k/5k, going to run the 10k this weekend to try for olympic trials qualifying.

Doing 4 x 1600m at threshold pace (60-90s recovery), avg. 400m is 1.10 pace

Started my health journey about 15 years ago. That time, simi sai also tried. I have dumbells, kettle belle, pull up bar at home. Also had Active Gym half year pass.. Did the holistic way for about two years with both strengh and cardio, maybe less, but I slowly found myself gravitating towards running only. And now I only run without much strength training .The only strength training I get are those deliberate hill runs I incorporate within my easy days.

I lift weights but usually prefer light ones (5kg), side laterals for the shoulder and curls for the bicep.

Statics like planks, bridges, leg raise, butterfly kick, sit ups for core training

But I don't do this everyday, only on days I don't run.

Planning to incorporate strides after easy runs (6x 50-100m). Also, might do hill repeats every alternate week for the tempo run day. If it accumulates too much lactate acid, then will replace hill repeats with the interval day. Waiting to test this out maybe next week and see how it goes.
