Samsung for you then.

https://www.zdnet.com/article/best-blood-pressure-watch/

If you are running regularly, can help to lower BP in the long term.

But short term and when you run, your BP can spike to as high as 200. So i don't think it will help you psychologically.

It's normal for systolic blood pressure to rise to between 160 and 220 mm Hg during exercise.

You will then be fearful to run.

Note if really high BP, get your doctor to advise !
Didn't know watches are capable to measure blood pressure. Do they pump air to squeeze the hands like a normal BP monitor ?

I've seen the Samsung on my friend's watch for many years. He said quite accurate.

No squeezing needed.
i think i got elevated blood pressure due to lacking of sleep on the weekday. jogging does help to normalised blood pressure. Blood donations help to reduce blood pressure also by almost 20-30 points.
You need to be fully awake and alert when you exercise.

Accidents can happen if you don't have enough sleep.

Yeah man, if not feeling good or say under influence of something, dont do session liao. Same as driving, esp on drowsy meds. Even a fall might can go rather bad. Impaired judgement etc.

Do this often enough (we are in the long run man), the probability just increases.

Heat definitely makes a difference.

For instance, you run 20.50 5km at 30C. If you go overseas run the 5km, it would be 19.58, under sub 20. This is based on Vdot calculator.

I already made the heat adaptation, planning to run shirtless so it's easier to cool down.

Tried it today, seems good 😂

Doha also terok even at night. They use tricks like ice wraps, ice packs in cap etc. Even stuffing them into their bras etc

The water is of limited effect for these ultra fast paces. 50K (race)walk is like the energy equivalent of 2 x marathons.

Got jogger, ok lah.. Coz some joggers makes silly mistake we should avoid. This one he anticipated the green man coming on soon, but he acted before it happened. Maybe he saw the lorry slowing down, and didn't see the porche that has no intention to stop. This give him the false sense of security that things are safe now.

Back to the track today with a 5X1km (4:00/km) with 200m jog. Short 400m walk then 4X400 sprints (1:30/ round) with 200m jog.

Damn satisfied that though my calf isn’t fully 100% (bearable pain ), still hit all the 1km splits. Only hit 2 of the 400m splits though. Still I feel good after the run

Actually on Sunday when i was going for my climb training, i encountered a very fast sports car myself too, at the zebra crossing.........but he managed to brake hard for me. Guesstimate approaching speed to be easily 80-100kmh from a distance (confirm not the legal 50-60kmh no way at all), i saw him only when he was braking hard somewhat close to the zebra crossing already. Of coz i have already slowed (as i always do) and then stopped after i detected that fast car only around 30-40m away, due to the fast speed.......as typically you do not scan like 100-150m so far away.

Believe the multiple lights helped in terms of reaction time, it works both ways.....for me to see him and for him to see me. Coz in low light conditions, clothings help very little.

Another major factor i think is also it was at a corner, so a bit blocked for both parties if going at fast speeds leading to very little reaction time.

The streetamps also not useful even if wearing bright clothing, due to the canopies, you'd just be camouflaged. Neon stuff do not work without sunlight (UV).....don't know why my family/parents ask me to wear neon.

I dont earn much, can only go for value.

I go buy Don don donki 250g $7.80 beef shabu shabu type........ put beef slices into a PP bowl and pour boiling water into the bowl, beef slices defrosted of coz. Use fork to separate out the slices, once pink colour gone can serve liao, if you dont mind a wee bit of risk can serve even if it's a bit pinkish. I pour some decents amounts of Soba sauce (from don don donki also) and it works out great.
Quite nice to eat, my kid likes that also.
Can also do that for the Pork slices, pork belly etc.

Good source of protein which i need coz do a fair amt of strength stuff. A bit > 60g of protein daily is my aim.
70g is nice, eg that is like 300g of chicken, fish like sardines/saba..... don don donki pork or beef slices, or economy rice chicken rice, eggs etc.

Really want to omg this weather..

4km 6min10sec pace
Ya, tonight was hotter than past few days. My heavy sweating wasn't helping much for my night run as compare to the past few days. My home thermometer showing 30.7C even at night. It used to show 29.5C last week.

Any NB fans here ?

What's your opinion on the new Fuelcell Elite V4 as compared to the 1080 V13 ?

Is the cushioning about the same ?

If talking about cushioning, the very short 2X i tried it in the shops and just walked / jogged around, cushioning felt somewhat similar to my Rocket X 2. I am a bounce and cushioning fan, so i think it's soft enough while also having enough energy return and aggressive nature so it works for more aggressive running or races. I can only do direct A-B comparios of shoes that i have purchased, one on each foot, that'd be much more indicative and accurate, but of coz not possible with shoes that i have not purchased.

OF coz that's very little info....but all in all, shd be fine.
Just find some place where you can run in it on a treadmill at 3, 4, 5, 6 min paces, that's impt. Like iRun or Runninglab. Also check if there are any hotspots/rubbing here and there. See if stable enough for you, the NB Elite V4 shd be fine. I have the V3.

I think if you run shorter distances like me eg up to 10k (not often also) and usually more of 3k, 5k range, can just buy this one and use it for everything literally. Until it gets worn out (not so easy coz shorter distances).
Yes it's relatively expensive, but still cheap enough for a working fella professional here in SG ba. Buying multiple but cheaper shoes lagi more ex in the long run.

ps. Just found out that some cycling peeps cycling jerseys (the tops) already the price of such super shoes. And then another one for the bibs/bottoms. That cycling hobby and pricing maciam HiFi / Home Theatre one.
Of coz, still, nothing beats playing and modding cars.
See open a bit, running still relatively cheap.
