ACM area very ight. So is SG River area.
Like that, best not to run in big group , die die stick to formation. Break into single file to weave thru slowly. Make it a group social run where training is not a priority.
If they have to do group paced run which don't want to slow down, then should choose a less congested location to do it.

Cham. Today run/walk 4.44km with avg pace 6min30s.

Is it better to slow jog all way through or do semi run walk but not until HIIT level?

I just realize you all talk zone, my Xiaomi fit app is just light intensive aerobic anaerobic. This is same thing right?

Run walk better because gives you better recovery. Jog or sprint all the way is for racing or for some testing purpose

Yes is same thing

I think if I really wanted to maintain at Zone 2, I would need to reduce my pace some more liao
Must put aside ego. Need patient. Try to hit 6:30 hours or more a week. Mileage not important. Keep at it and improvement will come. A good matching run for comparison:

Siao whey, tagging @sph777 to verify if his colleagues were part of the pack of runners in NBRC
2 of them went but got different pace groups. From what they told me route was different cause of the ndp closures and diversions. If this group from the complaint post can overtake the cyclists means must be the faster pace group ba.

Yup, must really put aside ago and follow my watch to pace myself correctly. Better to take it easy and have more mileage.

Anyways, it's kinda messed up that the guy got into contact with the cyclist.

It's possible to overtake, but I usually give them the leeway.

Definitely a must to do that, even with progressive long runs, the goal is to start at very easy pace and then speed up slowly. (80% easy, 20% hard)

If too hard, legs will get too fatigue for the next running day.

He just posted he is going GCM.lol. if he said this you, means he is targeting his NR.

This is the first time I heard Runners faster than Cyclists :s22:

Even can overtake but also will lose out at the end.
Did you check the pictures in their FB pages. Most are not the tour de France type of cyclists. Our age group or boomer.

Cycling groups (usually fodies) also cycling in single file liao. Though some jokers go ring bell. (I will never ring bell, the constantly on bluetooth speaker does the job anyway which is also good for safety)

But of coz sure there will be from time to time "wall" of Anywheels cyclist or pedestrians doing 3-4 abreast.

Can I know how does one manage to run long distance without feeling tired? I usually ran about twice or thrice a week and and usually by the time I hit 3km, I already gave up and end my run. Do you like slow down your pace just to hit the distance or maintain it? It's mentally draining too even though I tried to keep myself distracted with music and the surrounding. This is from my run yesterday evening.

Recreational Cyclists.

But even so, logically it's doesn't make sense at all.

If a runner is faster than a cyclist then he should be running at a super fast pace.

It's just like how a bike cannot be faster than a car.

Congrats, when it turns to black toe nail, it's mark of honor for becoming a runner.

Seriously talking, likely toe trauma. Try runners knot, see of it helps. For me, I have to remove the insole of my Qiaodan to mitigate the problem.
i had a black toe during one of my first 5 runs in Puma DN2 slightly more than a year ago, which i have yet to start running that often. :ROFLMAO:

If you slow down by 30 seconds, I am sure you can go further.

Runners overtaking cyclists is normal actually. Runner running longer than the cyclist, then that one is less common.

Slow down avg. pace to 6.35/km, increase your distance by 1km each week.

Week 1: 4km @ 6.35
Week 2: 5km @ 6.35
Week 3: 6km @ 6.35
....

That's the thing for me, it felt like I have ran slow enough. I sometimes couldn't tell as well if my pace had picked up or slowed down. It felt like if any slower, I might as well brisk walk.
