Yeah I saw the road sign there, the cars here always impatient to wait. So if they are there and I am the only one crossing I let them go first. Always on the lookout especially the one outside the mrt, that one got a blind spot cause of plants, the first zebra crossing after cheers.
Yep..... impatient or on their phones. My colleague and i @ coffeeshop beside tg pagar rd yest afternoon, talking about buying cam for his motorbike. Short period of 45 mins we came across 5 goons daydreaming on their mobile phones and getting horned coz red light turned green light liao.
On Sunday 2 days ago, @ 1 marina boulevard (just outside that NTUC Workforce SG development agency), my kid and i were cycling and saw 1 Merc on his mobile phone while waiting for green light. Green light came and he got horned coz he was engrossed on his phone. But he jitao pressed the gas pedal and turned at the discretionary left turn, didnt see pedestrian.
Jitao rammed into him but heng not fast speed. The pedestrian, most probably casual jogger, was also in dark clothings. So not really visible. 7+ AM already, a bit dark but not totally dark also. Got a few other pax attending to him and i believe no broken bones so my kid and i didnt stick around.
That fella pretty reckless. Before that he cut really close to my kid and I .....even though 7am+ only Sunday and so few cars / buses along Shenton. Just really anyhow. (either that or drunk)
Many goondus nowadays. That is why i purposely noticed the driver and see that he was on his phone before the accident, most probably still holding on his phone when he turned and hit the runner.
