I think during his ironman record, after bike and swim still 3 flat fm to finishHe is quite the runner also. Can see him on Aaron's vlogs, faster than him i think.
In the vid he mentioned just play play run a fun FM (no specific training), got 2:45.![]()
Your chill half mara pace is still so fast. HR also good. Nice laFyi for west runners, Both Chinese and Japanese gardens are reopened today.
Managed to run at both gardens earlier, was quite a crowd fest plus it didn't help with the festivals ongoing.

Always fun to race another distance or sportThe 3rd place AMB fast and endurance type, she finished an 80k bike ride just hours before.

Yes, I mean the gurkhas all becoming insanely quick. Subas, Bigyan and now Pravin.Always fun to race another distance or sport

Yeah, a lot of talent. But then again hard work matters too. 2.4km >> Probably will hit near or close to max potential only if you hit around 70-80+ miles/week. That's usually how much the pro 1.5k runners run each week. Still very aerobic.Yes, I mean the gurkhas all becoming insanely quick. Subas, Bigyan and now Pravin.
I wonder if we also have the same amount of time to train as they do, would we even reach their standards. For me, no cause don't have the talent haha.Yeah, a lot of talent. If it continues, better to see a podiatristAny Foot therapist experts? Right foot pain (sng), right side of right foot arch. The pain is not constant only when you walk, run the pain will disappear (maybe foot become lose) but soon reappears after stopping. If don't run and minimize walking for a few days, the pain does go away. Only to come back when run again.
For feet health, is there some massage , stretching or strengthening etc you do before or after runs?
Same, no for me. I know I have near plateau liao, that is why my SCSM goal is not a confident goal.I wonder if we also have the same amount of time to train as they do, would we even reach their standards. For me, no cause don't have the talent haha.
If don't get injured off running that mileage for some time and proper strengthening, should be able to run sub-8 minute 2.4km.I wonder if we also have the same amount of time to train as they do, would we even reach their standards. For me, no cause don't have the talent haha.

I've seen people with talent that reap 2X or 3x the benefit with lesser training than ordinary folks put it. Last time in the evening jogger thread , during one of the SCSM fever where we shared our long run and progress. One of the member had alot lower mileage, but he finished under 3:45.
I think you can't conclude yet if your talent is there or not. Already sub 3:45 at your weight. have to drop to the same BMI as the Elite athlete for fair comparison. Those elite can weigh sub 55kg for my height of 1.75m. But I think abit too extreme for health if doing this is not our rice bowl.
Yeah, the mileage is really insane. For me, I am just aiming to improve my scsm timing and try not to walk this year, as in finish full without walking haha. Issue for me is I exercise but don't want to diet haha. Comfortable with being this weight while still exercising to keep it from going higher haha.If don't get injured off running that mileage for some time and proper strengthening, should be able to run sub-8 minute 2.4km.
But it's hard to even achieve that mileage. SRY peak mileage was 112km/week back in 2018.
Shaun Goh expected to hit somewhere around there this year. He is currently running 127-142k/week, > 80 mile weeks. Improved on his previous 2.4km timing too.
I have similar issue but for my right ankleAny Foot therapist experts? Right foot pain (sng), right side of right foot arch.
