Suppose to be my new QD PB4. But after I did few of my easy run for some mid distance like 15km, my right toe hurts for the last run. So now there is a high possibility of me racing on non plated shoes, likely the NB rebel v3, coz far enjoy running in them on my first pair.
But I am still waiting for that rare moment that the Nike outlet will repeat their vaporfly sales again. 😂
:o i also have this prob of right toe pain after my tempo run. the pain is ongoing for 1 day already, havent subside. was wearing ON

I guess these shoes we have to use them for lower mileage runs.

But the QD PB 4.0, I am still trying to see if I can acclimatize to it by slowly increasing mileage in them.

This video is a runner feel good video for those doing a lot of zone 2. Already time stamped (15:54) thevideo where he said the health benefit of zone 2 is protective from Diabetes.
Zone 2 training -> promotes Mitochondria density and quality, -> and that in turn improve our metabolic health and is protective against Diabetes.

We train our leg to utilize fat as fuel, (I believe duration matters which isn't a problem for runners) the body adapt by increasing good quality mitochondria to synthetize fuel to energy.

Give it a go.

My Plaid was pressing on my big toe initially. Probably bought 1/2 size too large and there's some sliding to the front.

But I think getting used to the shoes and tighter lacing helps. After a couple months, no more pain with sprints and 10k.

Now the new 1080 V13 is pressing on big toe... Pain after 7km. Gotta play around with it and hope it gets better.

Nobody replied yet.... not a pro, but if i may just share my personal exp in cycling and running, just do strengthening. Core and lower back.
Just get some bands.....get from taobao, just get the whole set and be done with it coz you'll be progressing up in resistance, nowadays i use 3 or all 4 bands at the same time. Do the usual curls, rows, maybe good mornings to a small extent (be careful with that, dont do if you have hernia risk or slipped discs before), all with resistance. Do push ups and planks. For me i just focus on push ups and various variants. Isometric planks shd be easy.....months before i tried an isometric wall sit test, over 5 mins and eventually i got bored lol, even though i never trained in that. So there is a good deal of transferrence i believe.
