I don't mind paying more for transport like taxi for an early start just to get minimal sunshine as possible.

Prepare sunglass, visors and spf50 arm sleeves.

Super weather, just completed 5Km run 😅

Fantastic man, going to run soon liao. Dark clouds shiok
That is extremely fast .. even a sub 8 mins for a 2.4km already impressive for anyone boy below 16 .
I was also impressed by that guy's timing. But I guess it boils down to genetics and also supershoes.

A good strategy for 2.4km that worked for me is burst, hold, burst strategy.

You start off going very hard for 800m, then you slowly ease a bit and hold for the next 800m. For the last 800m, just grit your teeth and burst again. It's quite a common strategy in cross country running. I think Aaron did that strategy in his recent 2.4km PB video.

Is serangoon Stadium closed for renovation? I saw quite a few of people sitting in the stands but the tracks are totally empty? Or maybe there's some sort of event going on.

Check if the red light is on. Usually when there's lightning warning, the red light will be on and the stadium admin guy will chase anyone off the track.
