I used to be like you, no baggage. Just wear the exact running attire and skip baggauge deposit

But after super shoes with super critical foam were introduce, I wear slippers to race site and then change to the shoes. Just to maximize the bounce and cushion of the shoes for the race. I find from my training that these supershoes will become "dead" after a certain mileage into the run. Usually after 20km I will feel the 'magic' of the foam is gone. So on race day, I try to minimize the duration of wearing the shoes for the non-running parts.

No difference for me cause moi is slower runner.

I usually will run with my hiker vest with a bottle of pocari sweat in my vest pocket and gels and other things.

I think if serious racer indulging in racing events, really need to buy a bicycle.

Can save on the grab or shuttle, and all these bag stuff. Just clip to the bike can liao.
And no stress regarding whether or not can get grab or not (trust me, sometimes really no taxi or grab).

Like what aaroiseverything does.

I was about to try that out, then this year AHM 2024 they did not organise physical race. :ROFLMAO:

But i think major ones like T100 or SCSM shd be fine. And then the smaller but less participants ones like Metasprint is ok.

The issue with this strat is end point may not be the same as start point. This is the case for SCSM this year.

You paying 15 for stan chart bag deposit?
I did for two years. Mainly for this reason, for maximizing the time for effective properties of the super critical foam for running, and lesser time to walking and standing around. Best if you partner can support you, like for
Skecher run, since this race was late afternoon, my wife was my bag deposit. LOL.

Would be good idea for those staying less than 10km away from start pt., and the path does not include hill climb. I would do that, like last time, there were races in the Punggol waterway PCN, and I used those sharebike (last time was Mobike) to the start pt.

Only problem is colourway. Bloody hell they got many pink dot?

So many pink colours!

Pink is a loud colour. Esp if it is neon pink.

If can run / cycle fast enough, totally no issue.
Also would be a boost on the road for cycling during day time hours.
