it's been increasing slowly and more rapidly ever since i started interval trainings with Runna.
i feel that there is a still a long way to go though to hit my target.

Looks like Runna yielding good benefits for you. But Vo2Max is not an adequate metrics for distance running. You are on Strava Premium, try to use the Fitness & Freshness chart to monitor progress. Non premium users can use Elevated Strava apps.

@sph777 Tg Pagar Plaza got TW bakery Good Day Bakery already.

The $1.80 stuff also not bad, now have 20% disc $1.40 only. I tried their Red Bean Cheese bun, quite solid.

Im now trying to makan and get more skills in eating during cycling (much more difficult than during running)

Gels i tried a few times, no issue with GI.

I now hoot more solids (still relatively easy digestible carbs but more complex) and see. I think if can train abit to handle at tempo paces and get used to softer foods, it might be good training for the GI tract.

The red beam cream bun relatively soft and a little sweet (sugar), only thing is the dough holds a bit more water (weight) and delays hydration esp during racing, but i think for training esp tempo/Z2 it is fine.

I tried this morning the cheese bun, it's quite the morale booster.

Whenever you need to push someone to do, is usually cannot one. At least not for the long term or for performance. Needs to be auto.

This is so true.

Still as usual slow my cardio is my weakest.

Having a training plan will improve better but I'm really stupid and sturborn that I like to do things my way even if it's not the best thing to do haha

BTW just a word of caution, for us mere mortals wo specialised biomechanical testing and analysis, if you are doing any of these for any decent or even somewhat extended duration of time (per session), i think best to strength train the associated/used muscles for 4-8 weeks first. Plus get on top of your recovery, things like zone 2 really is zone 2 (dont over do).
Then can do max 2 of such session per week if you are on it, if just basic maintenance or want slight slow improvements once per week.

That time i just went by feel and "motivation" (ie too motivated), i was on NSAIDs (120mg eteriocoxib) and Curcuwin for like first stretch 3 days, off a few days, then on 3-4 days, off a few days then on 3-4 days again.

421 watts HR 121 bpm. Not sure if something is off though. Coz pogi's Z2 is low 300W.
It might be medical even, too big heart or something.

I cant even compute. How is this even cardiologically possible, maybe a doctor here can explain. Even by Rep 6 is 420W and 137bpm
This guy you put him on a 451 wheel foldie and 62 chain ring and he'd eat every single person in SG on a roadbike while doing a long RTI

yeah runna workout are quite intensive actually. i have very few easy runs.
they throw in quite a lot of speed work even in their long runs.

my interval pace has improved a lot but still lacking in endurance.
that might also be because i'm currently on the 5k plan now which focus on speed.
i intend to stick with this 5k plan until i can achieve sub 20 or below then move on to 10k plan.

i signed up for premium to see if the AI will give me any valuable insights but it's totally useless lol

hmm so far i have been doing intervals like once a week from december 24 till now (3 months).
i think my average interval distance per session is about 4km to 8km
it only increased by 1 point lol. is that slow or fast?

my training status has been stuck at maintaining from start of month till now.

UAE XRG team the team mate just behind Pogacar @ 7.7k from finish line was drinking water from bottle and then suddenly got unsettled (coz 1 hand) and then buanged.

That time i saw in one vid 1 recreational fella on WCH also buang like that, in the peloton. She fell onto second lane, luckily the truck just 1-2 seconds after her was in lane 1 (ultra defensive driving). The lady fooking heng.

That's why whenever i want to drink water, i slow down to around 20kmh thereabouts. Lower risks even if buang. My balls not that big. If on the roads, i wait till traffic lights then drink.

I believe another lady at NUS climbing hills also lost footing and fell, alas she did not make it coz the bus rolled over her head.

All these risks i think long term (defensive) drivers only can anticipate. (got licence does not mean you'd know.....esp those Getgo/bluesg folks)

Really got such a thing, also documented/shared by others.

I think really need to practice more + also eating (will not be eating gels on the bike, too dangerous, i will BYOF in opened plastic bags coz run leg got gels provided anyway every 1.5km)

** it's at the back of my mind, my family already said not very safe such racing, if i buang anything serious, they will forbid me to do sports liao. I have been thinking also, do i go all out @ Sheares bridge or do i limit at mid 50s.

Anyway for me i dont reach down, i reach for my back one (rear mounted bottle, for aerodynamics).......so at least better.

But i think also something to do with his genetics or large heart muscles or something due extreme endurance (he does long distance format type of triathlons). That's supposed to be his VO2max zone. I googled, seems like his max heart rate is around 160 only, at age 37. Probably at the extreme end of the variablility range.

Some of these fellas have RHR in the 30s.
