I think the road is more accurate now but still off by 400m or so
The additional loop feels a bit too short to make up for the missing 1.1km based on eye test.

Could be I draw wrongly or something, maybe the loop on Nicoll highway is shorter than listed
I usually use mapmyrun or mapometer to get better accuracy than GPS. What app did you use on this one?

I use Garmin Connect but I am just plotting this on the PC version to estimate

I am not actually there (yet)

ayioh jialat, so still not long enough?? :cautious:
ok for me I think the question marks are:
-where on Crawford Street is the loop back
-where on Nicoll Highway is the loop back

Those two kind are kind of vague on the run map so I dunno where the Crawford section actually turns

It's different from 2024 and it is longer so i don't know where they turn back

Third attempt, still got a few parts unsure:
1. The U-turn along Crawford Street
2. The U-turn along Nicoll Highway
3. Where is the turning point from Nicoll Highway to the stadium
4. Where is the turning point from the stadium to the river
5. How long the extended loop is

It's close to actual half marathon distance but I guess gonna compensate accordingly based on GPS vs road signs :s22:

Will just set a distance on Garmin PacePro to pace instead of mapping

Edit: average result, route still not truly HM (knn! imagine if they didn't do the last minute update, would really be 19+ only) , still hope u all had a good run!

4 mins off target, still PB cause I forgot my 2XU 2014 timing and I know I run faster now

Did compensate a bit to hit the desired half marathon distance, I think the lengthened route is close but not enough

Job well done!

Mine is your timing plus 10-15 more mins, because i slowpoke + didn't do compensation.

Only consolation is that i finished true to Pen B estimation lol.

Will discuss more later, now i wait for washing machine to complete its job before i hang the clothes up and catch up with sleep...

Finished with 2:39:00, 9 minutes off target, but happy to have finished the half marathon. I walked abit and started doing run-walk after halfway mark as my HR was near maximum (201).. I couldn't sustain it for long.

Didn't expect the race to be so crowded. A lot of people blocking in the center and using handphone which was abit disappointing... but guess that is a given since I am running so slow lol

Regarding the distance, it was more accurate on my end. I crossed the finishing line with 21.2km (edit: wrong distance) I guess that's from all of the weaving in and out when overtaking people :s13:
