No haze smell when I was jogging yesterday evening ! However My wife asked me to fetch her earlier. So I had to cut short my running routine . I ran the fastest 30 mins of my life for the year 2026!
Also did the short one, after 8:30pm, surprisingly the smell was not as bad as it was in the house. Guess my home trapped the earlier peak haze particles and while the outside is getting better, my home still smell of haze.

Thanks for the clarification. I checked the schedule already but saw some Safra Jurong Strava. Their GPS look like running on the inner red track, so it must be the outer track

Had to do a double take but 361栗蜂SL actually selling cheaper on Lazada and shopee than taobao. Official store so no worries except currently most colorways and sizes are OOS.
M0Xw87Y.jpeg

Lazada currently having birthday sale so its even cheaper at $77 after coupon and if you have sufficient coins, can stack and bring the price down to sub $60. Sucks that its mostly OOS though.......

Yes very good prices on Lazada now. Especially with coins.

Anta Zone 2 is also cheaper than buying from Taobao, although limited size and colour.

Only PDD is cheaper by $10++ but slower delivery.

Bmai Jingtan 3T for $80! (with coins)

Mizuno Wave Sky 8 for $62(coins)!! Even cheaper than China brands.

Dont know pricing bug or what but Bmai shoes on Lazada can discount until $20-30 bucks if you have sufficient coins to utilise.

You see these 3 plated Bmai models

But to get this price you would require at least 80k coins which is impossible to accrue since they have an expiry.

Add: Managed to get a pair of Li Ning Red Hare 8 pro for $23 after coins yesterday. Today see the price went up by almost $15 liao lol.

Ya very hard to get that much coins. Unless you earn some coins back from buying a lot of other stuffs.

But they have a gold rush game during this birthday event. Just tap like crazy to earn about 200 coins($2 worth) daily for this few days.

Those gold rush coins will expire right after birthday event ends.

Your Redhare 8 pro for $23 is sick. Army shoes how to fight? 😂

I just bought 2 pairs of Altra zero drop with a view to test sizing and the feel. Might return both of them. :o:o

P.S. the Bmai seller is clearing stock. Not a bug. I'm selling on Lazada so this is a feature.

If a buyer somehow got enough coins, the discount is paid by seller. Damn painful for margin.

What? 200coin? my record was 192.. And it was once, most of the time, is under 150 coins. LOL.
I didn't know that coins is absorbed by the seller, coz sometime the coins can be substantial for certain selected items. I got my Soundcore Liberty 5 for $44 only in the last round of finger tap, can use like 40%, very rare occurrence.

No la I'm averaging 170s coins for the tap tap. +30 from the daily bonus for 200 total.

$44 for the ear buds is sick as well. I remember buying from Creative for $50++.

But ear canal became sensitive as get older. Will get infections easily. Even over ear type. So gave up using all . :(

The amount of coins allowed to be used on those Bmai listings are more than the 40% shown. More like max offset 70-80%. Thats why i dont know whether its bug or what. Not that it matters since dont have that amount of coins to try.

On thing though, i spent my entire 12k+ coins on my redhare 8 pro order yesterday and guess what, today i checked the entire amount of coins is still available in my account! I double checked the transaction snapshot and coins usage history and indeed it shows as deducted. Not sure if bug or maybe Lazada tactic to make one buy more spend more:ROFLMAO:.

What the fish. My coins got deducted right away! 😂

You can try another purchase to use the coins. At most return if no discounts. :o

2 years ago occassionally go there one, a few times with my kid too at 6am. Then stop by at Ghim moh hawker for BF.

If run at night, need to have rear red LED clip on. Front can just be your mobile phone in the hands or something, coz you'd need some bare illumination for the path anyway. Any $5 cheapie would do, since it's literally pitch black.

Rare occasions would have foldie or bangla on bike gunning through. Once I was already doing like 22kmh and a bangla still overtook gunned past me....... haha. @$#$@@#% Another time was a hybrid bike or road bike, not sure, but it was the big wheels 650/700cc bike.
(ok, 22kmh already past the limit i know)

These fellas do use RC as transporation.

The bikes would try not to use any good front illum (coz would blind oncoming dir), and some runners wear dark clothings. So cyclists would typically only get like 1-2 seconds max of warning time at best, cant find the exact night cycling vid but the runners just suddenly pop out of the darkness one, so quite dangerous.
If wear pure black, i think literally just 1 second of visibility to the cyclist.

For ref :

Yeah 120g, just for info and reference nia....i came across that interesting vid 2 weeks ago that Holly Archer so magnanimously shared on youtube, and with decent scientific rigour too with the whole process documented.
In case there are any hardcore folks here who are so into milking out the last bit of performance to go for sub -3 and wants to heat train lah......max out fueling etc. 🤣

I not pro and chasing long races/race times that need such fueling, only amateur sessions with no time limit with kid that need fueling coz burning heckloads of calories.

But i shared with xllms maltodextrin powder on iherb.......and it's really cheap. Like 1/3rd the price of gels.

Wondering if DIY small packets of maltodextrin powder mixed into the cups of water (ie liquid nutrition) works too for your race day or not. It just MIGHT be better than gels, which quite most times you'd want to swallow with water as well anyway. Can try if interested.

Her gut needs to be very strong to consume 120g/hr. Knowing myself, I would consider it good enough to consume 60-70g/hr for the marathon. I don't have a strong gut, so better to keep it minimal, but also be willing to try new things out.
I ran rail corridor once at 5am, never again. Completely no lights and quite scary haha. I rmb I went in at spooner and exited at queenstown area and ran back by roads.
You running back by roads, means you were too creeped out to run through rail corridor lol :ROFLMAO:

6km pre-season run is a good gauge of your current fitness.

In late jan after my HM race, I ran 4.04 min/km 6km (172 bpm). Mid feb ran another 6km (recovered from sickness), I ran 4.13 min/km 6km (HR 156 bpm). Early march, 6km run again at 4.02 min/km (162 bpm).

Last week, I ran 5km in 3.57 min/km (172 bpm). Just slowly increasing my running mileage per week.

Unfortunately, i think for us amateur levels, the best shot to play with 120g/hr is really with self DIY liquid mixes.
For cycling it's easy in terms of practicality, 1 bottle with nutrition and the other bottle plain water. Also rear jersey can add another PET bottle 500ml of anything you want. Running a bit lehceh, might need to self devise some DIY very small ziploc satchets to contain the exact grams of powder.

Holly Archer is can one lah.....quite the elite in training for anything. She tried London 2025 and didnt get a good time after coming from 1500m-5k. Then continued to pursue Hyrox which she also just started in late 2024.

Last weekend

The HYROX Elite 15 is the premier, invitation-only competition tier in HYROX fitness racing, featuring the top 15 male and female individual athletes and elite doubles teams globally. It represents the pinnacle of the sport, where athletes compete in Majors and championships for a spot in the World Championship.

We picked up a 60-second penalty, followed by two additional 15-second penalties, 90 seconds in total for some small mistakes that, in reality, didn’t give us any advantage at all.
Despite the penalties, we still crossed the line in 55:35 and finished 7th overall ..,which, considering the setbacks, shows just how strong our performance actually was.

BTW bro, just a small tip, and i believe it is quite the practical good tip that works for me, try to don KF94 masks when you are just 1-2 month before your big important races (esp overseas). Also, wear it with a good fitting. Maintain good hand hygiene also, hand sanitizers esp for the fingers thumb, index and middle finger after touching any high-touch surface.

Training is more effective and falling into place? I think you mentioned you changed something after our last convo / injury (cant remember the details)
Continue what you are doing + the recovery as well (ie dont touch) and you'll be on your way to even faster timings be it 5k or your fav HM
