Change the language to EN

Quite strong. 70kg bulgarian split squats, 6 reps.

Thanks for sharing. Gonna work on some of these exercises.

Yesterday was walking after run. Then a meimei ran past me.

Good cadence runner, smooth and very efficient and fast. Saw her before a few times. But only now then notice her perky and wellrounded butt. :o

Looks like my butt needs my work to run smooth like her. :o

Just checked, Monaco expected to be like 26 deg C and 80% RH. Heat index of 28 deg C.

Don't know how heat adapted is he, but still, totally not optimal conditions for even a 5k....when we are talking about breaking records at such a top level.

Actually no need to over do it. Just do the BSS with explosive intent and slower eccentric and drop jumps as baseline is more or less sufficient, and single calf raises (if you have access to gym then seated single leg calf raise). 2 times a week.

Keep it basic and simple and choose these only but do get extremely strong in them and do them well. Compounded over time (eg 1-2 years) with consistency and coupled with neuro things like strides will see benefits and run like the mei mei. Then after that you see if you wanna expand to others like BSS jumps etc.

edit - basic and KISS......however, some folks still find it not that easy to do BSS. But actually it isn't that super difficult or dangerous even, after you nail down the neuro part, after which is just simple progressive overload plus some deload weeks.

Just do the BSS with resistance bands looped over your head.

Anyone has good running socks to recommend, my usual brand last time no issue. Recently due to the humidity, ponding more frequently. Thinking of trying something new
If reason is soaking wet socks, nothing can help in making your feet drier. Go for thinner socks for reduced 'soakiness' feeling.
Ponding is more of the shoe drainage issue.

Socks, you already tried the brand I am using so can't recommend what else since it doesn't suits you.
Two days ago, I had a 1:41 hr economy run. Usually this duration, under 29c and above 85%, confirmed will pond in the shoes. My Li Ning Fei dian 5C, bo ponding. But night weather was very cooling, so can't really assess the shoes drainage.

Xianian I guess only Singaporean or Malaysian will experience this ponding. That's why no reviewers flag this problem.

I guess it's one of those tools, like Maurten bicarb system or beta alanine, in which you use during racing season after you have trained for it or even the peaking phase. Say parkruns 5k every week or even smash rides/road races which can be 2-3 times a week.
Definitely avoid during base building phase.

Powdered tart cherry supplementation effectively reduces markers of catabolism and perceptions of muscle soreness following an acute bout of intense endurance exercise
