After look thru this, I think the number I referring to was aqi. I mistakenly took the pm2.5 as aqi. So got to switch the menu to aqi.
Tampines is missing from the map. This is the closest stn to my Punggol and sk.

There is a Longvale station, at the Southeastern corner of Bedok Reservoir. But i find the numbers (AQI) a bit on the high side, but nevermind you can just self-moderate if you wanna.

Past few days/current conditions seem pretty decent, but i guess nobody can fortell the future.

https://aqicn.org/station/singapore-longvale/

Just remember, AQI 150 is PSI 100 level.
AQI 170 is PSI 140 kinda equivalent.
AQI 185 is PSI 169.
Longvale did hit a peak of AQI 189 last Friday. And yeah if you are talking about your said smell test, there certain was a smell then.

I think if it is not like a fast interval LT2 workout with total volume of 40-60 mins , below AQI 185 (PSI 169) for this near real-time reference i think shd be fine for healthy pax without underlying medical conditions for other sessions that dont tax our breathing volume rate to super high. For eg, lower to mid zone 2.
Dont apply any health advisories to it, it's just a number at the moment for you to refer to and decide if the workout shd proceed.

Understand your frustrations bro!

I always run at stadium and always encounter a group of walkers (usually family members ) walking and occupied almost half ofthe stadium lane ( lane 3 to lane 6) and blocking other.

Then some single walker also dunno how to walk in the own lane. Walked at outer lane 7 instead the extreme right lane 8 and so when I need to overtake I have to decide what gap should I pass thru . Lane 6 or 8. When the moment I closed in behind . He bumped into my either my lane 8 or 6 suddenly.

I feel like striking my elbow into his face .

Even when I finished my run and wanted to do a slow recovery walk. I would just stick to lane 8 and let everyone overtake me on my left.
Public stadiums tend to be quite crowded these days, so I usually go to school tracks (uni/poly) for lesser crowd.
I can barely complete 42 much less 50 much less 100, doesn't sound fun at all LOL
Malaysia have 30k races, can go for those

if you have these thoughts.. i think you should stay at home... :)

Jurong west stadium has 2 tracks . Cycling track and running tracks . Common to see Many runners and leisure walker still go to cycling track . I prefer cycling tracks because the running track ground is too soft to my liking. When leisure walker couldn't walk in lane and make sudden movement or drift out of his lane. I might have to hop away and puting myself into danger and being hit by cyclists that using the middle of the lane .

Everyone is free to use the public track but those leisure walker cant stay within their lane or a group of family members walk abreast each other are causing inconvenient to other user .

If I go to jurong lake park. I won't have this issue as this park path is big for me. But In the stadium..it is different. If u run at the stadium up to 2 hours like me. U will know how I feel

I heard of 3 other reports in other threads that they ran/cycled and also felt this tiredness feeling, one of which is my cycling training group friend.

For me i just avoid and time it nicely so that the sessions dont coincide with the peaks lah......actually for my long 2.5 to 3hr zone 2 i use my KF94, no issue. Coz seriously supposed to be under vetilatory threshld 1 also lah......so breathing aint that bad, and i use the Korean made KF94 (not the chinese made) a specific model that has very low pressure drop, ie low breathing resistance.

Then just now i did 3 x 15 mins LT2, levels are somewhat relatively low (still got a bit of haze tbh), no need mask. Now feeling fine.

But for others if wanna use KF94s or N95s, make sure you have no underlying medical issues that could be affected, also for those pregnant (?? not sure if here got any ) best not to try esp for 2nd/3rd trimester.
Safety is also paramount.

This is one of the west stations on airgradient.com using laser particle counter meters, at Bukit Batok, is literally near real time for your 8 sep 1831h 5k run. So shd be close to your Jurong area.

AQI 156 is like around PSI 108? (not 24hr, but the converted 1hr PSI level)

Very appreciated that u posted the PSI data on the 8 Sept .. that day was my worst run of year . I couldn't hold my pace under 6 mins /km . The heat and the haze smell. My heart rate already spike after 400m..

BTW, she is not a sponsored elite or what......just a regular mum with a new youtube channel and not too young also. (not too different from maka chan but then i think maka already joined Puma)
Not sure if she had any school T&F background or not.

Bought 6 x SIS energy gel varieties for less than $15 at Lazada 9.9 sale and when I received the item. I realised they send GU gel instead. I made a refund / return claim immediately and the seller responded and asked me to consider accept the product with further $3 discount for the next purchase . I rejected because I already tried GU before and wanted to try this SIS brand . They replied to me to get 6 x GU gel at this price is very good deal but that is not I wanted .because of this . I have to repack the items and need to return back thru picklocker to claim my refund .

In the end . I have to order to pay slightly higher from official SIS Lazada store .

I will return them. Gu taste horrible to me. If it's SIS isotonic gel, those are the easiest to take in in my opinion and your gut most likely be agreeable. Less sweet than most gel, and the consistency is less viscous than most gel making them, easier to take in than most gel. The down side, for the same gram for Carg or calories, they are a lot more heavier. For 25g Carb, the whole pack weighs 60g, where else similar dose of 25G carb from other brands are 45g - 50g.
