If want to drive in next Sun, what time better to avoid jam? By 7am? Or 8am?

Usually Sunday traffic is better than Saturday since most are coming back to SG~ earlier the better, if not in the afternoon~ before you depart, check the traffic trending~ :s22:

Hard lah, same as Pandan city, Giant Plentong, Giant Pelangi. A lot of potential for the location but just left there. Same for Giant Bukit Indah before it closed down. I was at Giant southern city for the indoor playground on Wednesday night and really, the whole place very run down. Railing paint falling off, light flickering, the entire men’s toilet stinks because multiple flushes not working. I thought bestmart toilet was Jia lart but GSC really worse. The only saving grace was the little angel indoor playground was brand new and cheap (RM21.60 for day pass).

Agreed that many of such toilets are pretty run down~

Having been to many megamarts/ hypermarts in JB, the best toilet I find was at MidasMart~ it was clean, renovated with modern look~

From outside, MidasMart look pretty low ses but overall cleanliness was pretty ok considering there's a wet market in it~ :s22:

if you shop at Mr. DIY, remember to not buy the wrong one... there are more examples of buying the wrong item in the shop, keep your eyes peeled.

the difference is glaring when you are the Pandan outlet, NSK and Midas Mart, night vs day

Below Novotel! But RyanJ bro, your video quality really lose to your pictures. Your this video machiam taken by Song bro with one hand while the other hand holding D24 durians.
Elon, I just found out a guy in front of me paid Rm66 for parking at mall of Medini.
He said they were there since morning.

So if you ever come this way, go park at Legoland parking lots if you are going to visit Legoland.

There are 2 parking areas :
Mall of Medini and Legoland parking.

The Mall of Medini charges as follows:
The 1st 2 hours Rm1.
3rd hour is additional Rm5
4th hour and thereafter is Rm10 per hour.

Yesterday 1st time took J34 to sutera mall. The ride took abt 40mins (include traffic jam) and the ride was quite smooth.

Sutera mall drop off and pick up point- J34
Outside Burger king
Departing from Sutera mall- After the bus had dropped off the passengers at the mall. For some reason, the bus made 1 round and then picked up the passengers at the mall.

Swee Kee chicken
Thanks to bro Song for recommending this chicken rice. It was good.
It has been a long time since I had good chicken rice in SG or JB.
I was deciding whether to order the steam or roast chicken. Since this was a Hainanese chicken rice place, I decided to order the steam chicken.
Steam chicken (breast) and char siew- The chicken portion was generous and the meat was moist and tender. The char siew meat to fat ratio was to my liking. The fat melt in your mouth. Their dark sauce was abit unique and I found it to sticky and sweet for my liking.

Nusa Bestri "Durian street" (TF value Mart) - Yesterday I went to Ah Shui and Nusa Bestri to try different vendor durian. Nusa Bestri (NB) cheapest I saw was RM99 /10kg. From what I saw, the quality still ok. I heard ppl queue over 2hrs.
Ah shui durian-I bought the RM388/10kg (Pahang Bentong) + 2 free durian.

Restoran Wufu - Wan tan mee ( Morning stall and Night stall)
Add: 75, Jalan Sutera Tanjung 8/3, Taman Sutera Utama, 81300 Skudai, Johor Darul Ta'zim, Malaysia

Thanks to bro Elon and Aaago for recommending both this stalls.
I understand tht there are 2 WTM stalls. One which closes at 2pm and another which opens in the night.

This stall opens till 2pm.
I arrived too late to try it.

Hi @Aaagogo
I would like to ask, was the below WTM stall which open in the night, u had eaten before?
This was the stall which I ate and it opens in the night.
The noodle was quite nice. I ordered the black sauce (RM8) and after biting the noodles, it broke easily.
I felt the pork lard was not enough. Maybe next time, I try to ask for more. The portion was just nice for me.

pork lard can add. i also started eating there before they had FT cooking for them. that FT with the stall for a while already, noodle cooking skill can match locals. so abit of nostalgic taste for my review

the fried wanton goes well with beer but maybe more to do with beer than wantons :ROFLMAO:

I notice this trend too. The mee hun Kuey at Bestmart Heng park food court when it first opened after Covid19, it was manned by an aunty and her niece or daughter. After a few months, when I visited it again in thr morning, it was manned by two foreigners. So I supposed, the bosses just shake leg and collect profit at home right?

some business owners in in JB understand the core concept of operating any business, set it up so that it runs without you and provide you with a passive income.

of course, this is helped greatly by the easier availability of labour for their f&b industries
