Nearby there is a shop selling roast duck, roast pork not bad too. long the shop houses where you can see people selling durians.

I saw a durian stall the last time I explored those shophouses near KSL. Guess I might try this roast duck/meat next time. Thanks!

If you are going on a Monday, go to the pasar malam outside KSL at around 5+. There are tons of good street snacks and food to try!

I love the Chai Tow Kuay or Fried Carrot Cake (black version), it is somewhere in the middle of the pasar malam.

The fried chicken cutlet is also nice with many different flavours to choose.

The sugarcane drink is very refreshing and sweet (directly outside KSL, at the start of the pasar malam) always have long queue.

The Ramily burger is not bad too, and they sell nasi padang (all home cooked)

do they have tables and chairs for customers? I love night markets (those in Taiwan) but not sure how are the Malaysian ones operate. Cannot tabao too much food, must eat there.

Yes, can sit n eat there. Many foods to try. So dun eat too full for each stops.

Don;t go to Bak Ku Teh near the mall... it is expensive yet food not so good as what we expected. But the mall itself is ok especially TESCO

Food around area of City Square to KSL mall are rather expensive, even the pharmacy sells more expensive medicine. The further you go, the cheaper are the things. I wonder how the Johoreans survive.

Went there and had lunch at the first coffeeshop nearest KSL, which has the wanton noodles stall in it. Went back there for dinner after shopping as well.

Further down is the durian stall, then the other coffee shop with the roast duck stall.

Across the road saw 2 bak kut teh shops, the 2nd one seemed to open only towards the evening...? Then there's a teochew porridge shop, with quite a number of customers during dinner time.

The Pontian wanton noodles shop is actually all the way down this same road, round the right corner and across the road.

I find it nice to walk outside for my meals instead, and hope to land there on a Monday soon.

Sg got IR they also want integrated development with shopping and hotel but on the account of Cheap stuff (relative) it's nice... (plus petrol) ... the thing is that it's getting more expensive...! maybe cos of us going over there ...
I guess the standard accommodation would be 11@Century Hotel (Standard Twin Breakfast included S$54)which is just opposite this mall; and of course the KSL Hotel& Resort (Superior Double Room S$80) at least got free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool and a sauna. for a 5 star this price is good....

along the main exit where all the taxis and bus stop at, opposite is all the terrace houses....

Overall KSL is quite good shopping mall though I still prefer Tebaru City with Jusco, Harris bookstore, Tesco opposite etc.

Tebrau got Topshop/Topman right? and some other more high street fashion labels

Yes, includes Mango, Timberland, Braun Buffel etc. Pls pay a visit and you'll not be bored....

BTW forget to mention parking rate only RM$1 for >1 hour or more during weekends. Worth it as consider per entry.

If still want to save, pls park Tesco opposite for FREE

I stayed there few times before. Overall was good except for the slow check-in and the lift.
