the other bus, M117 to KSL, NOT S1, izzit faster? they shd be operating different route.

2day happen to see it at KSL finally, other time I went always nvr see it, no wonder it basically stop by the roadside outside KSL for 1 or 2 minutes outside pple's houses, no bus-stop there too, nvr turn inside KSL, blink and u will miss it

oso notice got new taxi company in town, not just usual red whites, blue color fleet.

From what I've noticed, both bus services pass malls like Pelangi Plaza, KSL City Mall, and Holiday Plaza.

Whether they travel the same route, I've not really taken notice. As for speed, I don't see any difference too.

That place little far away from the well known Pelangi.... I was told nothing much there except for Giant by bus guide station at the previously old bus stop (no longer exist)

You may want to check out their website to compare prices before making you trip there. For convenient, Tebrau Tesco and then Jusco would be easily choice because they are next to each other. but you need to do your home work, not every thing is cheap. Tesco, preferrably my CHOICE. Again, not everything depending on what is on offer in JUSCO. However, if you can make your trip else where like UO store or even like EconSave,... something like this kind of store, prices for more items are cheaper than Giant and Carrefour.

There is no absolute, some times, promotional offer items prices various from places, Just your choice so long as it is cheaper than your SG sources.... its will be fine. Having said that, there are certain stuff I will never buy in JB because I found cheaper source in SG, not from your popular grocery shops like Sheng Siong, NTUC,..... some neighbourhood stalls and even in Chinatown

What stuff is cheap in jb? Do share so i can buy too.

So far I find most things comparable to Singapore leh.

I mostly buy food and children clothes in Tesco.

It depends on what you are using as referrence to compare with. My friend told me certain supplements similar price but when promotion, it is cheaper in SG. You really want to know what is cheap by real comparison instead of what many describe as cheap but in actual fact are mostly based on feel.... which can be misleading. I had a list of prices of stuff from various places to compare with. Like buying from:

Swanton (Chinatown) - most toiletry, certain facial items
Red Berries, CK, medical hall (all in Tampines) - various items, e.g. Dynamo 4.1/4,.4kg $8.9 normal price
NTUC or even Cold Storage depending on what is on promotion, discounte + credit card rebate (5%) or even using NTUC voucher (10% discount) to buy will even be better. Just some examples.

Certtain lifestyle/facial stuff can buy from JB Watson/Guardian.
TESCO - Coffee e.g Old Town (offer RM11.99 =$4.8, supermart = $6.5)
UO store - for me, likely to buy snacks, tibits, etc... cheaper than TESCO
Especially CNY = buy Tong Garden's cashew nut, etc...
Bottle of Cadbury choc 200pcs ~RM21.99, TESCO =~Rm24.99
SG = only sold in milk tray (small tray) for same QTY = ~SG$20

You need to do your home work. I know many of my relatives tells me it is cheaper in MY, but can't me what exactly is cheap and by how much. 2 weeks back, bought a pair of unknown brand of running shoe for my girl from TESCO at RM29.9 (after 50% discount). She only wears it for 1 or 2x/yr. Find it not bad, consider good buy for ~$12 as I had tried it myself. Last year, bought Pro-Ace for RM50 at Denga Mall for badminton. I don't think I can get anything close to that price in SG (for less than $40, unless expo clearance sales like Yonex brand) ........

So you really need to do your home work.... Especially prior to going, check out their promotional items, could save you some $$$..... something I experience shopping at Tebrau Jusco and Tesco.... Jusco on offer but not offer at Tesco, or both on offer but one is cheaper than the other

Perhaps, you may want to consider what you intent to buy before crossing over. Make a list of the pricing in SG$. If you just ask what to buy, no one knows what you really want because all of us have different needs and wants, certainly you won't probably buy such thing as lady's sanitary pad, right? But it is cheaper over there especially those in twin pack and even more when on sales.... I bought Futuro arm strap at TESCO (RM30.5, Watson =RM29+) Still cheaper than SG watson/Guardian 20% sales (Guardian = $21.9, Watson = $25.9)

Further down the road, round the corner, there's a Pontian wanton noodles place - cheap and good - I feel better than the ones we've here.

According to one of the shopkeepers I asked, the popular wanton noodles place is further round another corner which I decided not to venture over.

In KSL's foodcourt on the top floor, I go for the asam laksa.

Nearby there is a shop selling roast duck, roast pork not bad too. long the shop houses where you can see people selling durians.

Yup, below the bridge, follow the signboard direction to "JB Sentral".

If you are going on a Monday, go to the pasar malam outside KSL at around 5+. There are tons of good street snacks and food to try!

I love the Chai Tow Kuay or Fried Carrot Cake (black version), it is somewhere in the middle of the pasar malam.

The fried chicken cutlet is also nice with many different flavours to choose.

The sugarcane drink is very refreshing and sweet (directly outside KSL, at the start of the pasar malam) always have long queue.

The Ramily burger is not bad too, and they sell nasi padang (all home cooked)
