I went to make my lao hua specs at KSL only RM35. Plastic lens. half an hour onlyl.

I dun know which floor but the shop is same level as the KSL bus and beside the escalator. Their poster put specs RM35-55 depending on the frame you choose. Of course there are more exp frames available.

As it is my first time making a specs, I chose the cheapest RM35 for trial. So far so good. Quite clear for my reading.

I think you are referring to Dr Specs. It is one level up from the KSL bus level 1. They are opened for about one month, near Popular bookstore actually. Yes, the spectacles there is very cheap. And collection is within an half and hour.

Ya. It is on the same floor as the KSL bus not KFC.

So it's not really near Popular Bookstore as Librarian has mentioned? Different floors...

Anyway, thanks for sharing. I'll pay them a visit on my next trip. :)

Sorry, I have forgotten where is the actual level cos I went last month and I dun frequent JB often but I remember it is infront of the escalator.

I saw "Dr Specs" printed on my specs box. Yes according to them the frames are from Korea.

Any good food near ksl? I only know the bak kut teh.

Good is subjective. That BKT won't see my second visit unless a friend die die wants to try.

Hawker Center behind Grand Paragon Hotel - good oyster omelette, BBQ chicken wings, rojak. No dessert stall there (but a small fruit cart), only at the other hawker center on the other side of KSL, across the road after passing the Geylang porridge shop. The rojak here is also not bad.

Yik Foh (something like that) wonton noodles that row, also has good Indian food. Pontian wonton noodles shop has hot dessert, alright too. Oh, Geylang porridge that row has a roast meat shop, quite good also.

Why don't take bus from Woodland Interchange? 911, 913, 856 take about 10min to reach the old woodland interchange. walk in from there.

912 and few other buses too but these buses take longer time to reach.
950? up to you, wait time can be long and pack with people
