Anyone knows if MrDIY is already in business at KSL?

Last I read here, they were supposed to open in July but I can't find anything online to confirm.

Open liao but I find it very lacking as compared to our homefix or selfix. Their products mixture is weird too.

It's the difference that makes me enjoy browsing through the aisles of Mr DIY outlets. They've a unique range of products.

Lacking? Maybe different from the branded, "quality" range that we find in Homefix or Selfix. MrDIY is more than just DIY, they also have other household products we find here in Daiso. Therefore you get to find school bags, cutlery and clothes.

I personally went to Dr Specs - economical ones as I hardly use specs. Got 2 reading and 1 progressive.

Friend went to the corner one on the right of Dr Specs... other one in KSL recommended by members here before is the one next to the entrance.

made a pair glasses at Dr Specs today~ had went to few other optical shops at KSL incl the corner one near to Dr Specs~ chosen Dr Specs cos prefer the design~ plastic frame + 1.61 lens for RM250~ may make a progressive glasses some other time~

if you enjoy hardware & DIY stuff, shld go homepro at paradigm mall~ HomePro sell more range and bigger tools, like bathroom accessories, ceiling fans, synthetic turf, shower doors, booster pumps, toilet grab bars (those use in handicap toilet), floor tiles, hardwares etc~ something you won't find in Sg store~

Not say must try la but here are some I enjoy around the area:

Blackball (cheaper than SG)
Emperor Duck (the porridge not bad)
Lok Lok (unhealthy like siao and not super hygienic but quite shiok)
Nice beh teh sor further up the road

Exit KSL Mall from the ground level exit where there are durian stalls. Walk out further onto the main road (where lots of cars are parked at side) and you'll see the Lok Lok truck parked there. You can't miss the truck with blaring music and lots of food stacked on the sides. The boss / staff is a slightly overweight dude (you can't miss him too)

Opens around 6-7PM

You Kee XO Restaurant (有记XO烧腊之家)
Can try the above char siew roast duck restaurant at KSL near where they sell durian entrance.I like their char siew and volcano tofu.

they hv lesser range of sunglasses but you shldn't restrict to Dr Spec since there are a dozen of optical shops in the mall itself~

Hi
First time we want to drive in jb. All along we dun have car n alway tk bus.
Can advise me how we shld drive in to city sq n ksl mall? And we need to purchase wat card for parking? Is it touch n go? Where to buy?

Driving to KSL:
After JB Customs, take the right exit, up the ramp ie *Lebuhraya Tebrau* exit; then take centre road ie *Jalan Tebrau*. When you see *Shell Station* on your left, then *keep left* to go down the slip road (do not keep right ie up the flyover), where you will see traffic lights under the flyover. Keep to the left lane or center lane - the extreme right lane is a return (U-turn) lane.

*Turn right* towards Kota Tinggi direction, ie you are on Tebrau Highway, then go straight up all the way.

At the 1st cross road, when you see *Plaza Pelangi* on your right at a cross junction, *turn left* at that traffic light junction, into Jalan Harimau.

About 400m, turn right into Jalan Seladang at T Junction with Grand Paragon Hotel on your right. KSL is located on your left near the end of Jalan Seladang.
