Frankly, I don't know how significance the fixes are when they said that.

For sure! I will test out the fixed camera module on the spot at LG service Centre to make sure they truly fix it.

For everyone's info, I also choose full 13MP.

Our G Pro 2's sensor is '1/3.06" 4:3' and not the 16:9 ratio. As such pictures taken using the 16:9 ratio is cropped and will see at least a reduction in 30% of the original picture size which will also caused some lost in details when the software compensate the size back through interpolating. Try taking some pictures using the two different sizes and compared them side by side.

If you are concerned with picture quality, choose the full 13MP.
My 2 cents worth.

Oh! A photo that has the 16:9 ratio looks more appearing and it is a standard ratio in every prints everywhere lol...

Just back from LG Service centre with a replacement of camera module and the board that attached to the camera module!

Tested the camera! It is indeed white horizontal lines no more when taking the same shots.

Yes. Glass is somehow smoother than plastics. Once you use glass, chances is you won't go back to plastics.
