I like everything about my beloved Pro 2 except LG keyboard....I find it either very goondu or too-smart (anyhow suggest and insert words for me)...LOL! . Even Samsung keyboard is way better than LG one!

Anyway, IMHO, Swiftkey is the best for me!

i bought this phone 2nd hand off hwz after reading about the amazing 11 hr web browsing times, managed to only get about 3 hrs of screen on time in total before the battery hit 20%

decided to buy a $20 battery off ebay, the battery took 2 weeks to arrive and does look to be original, however some battery application i downloaded read the battery to be 2610mah instead of 3200 and it lasts 2.5hrs of screen on time

gave up, took the time to go to lg service center to buy an original battery, costs $38 before gst
came home, charged the battery fully and started using, managed 2hrs of screen on time before the battery dropped to 40%, i estimate i should be able to get 3 hrs


what are the screen on times you guys are getting?

Happy man now.
My previous lg2 died dun to water damage. Cannot on power at all and the beng shop told me cannot repairing need change mobo and estimate damage to beng 300 plus.

Luckily, contacts access hope deal from gumtree. 1 month old only as most New and happy used mine condition plus 2 extra spigen case thrown in everything for $350. Very happy wife the deal.

So.. The deaD lg2 pro set how? CANNOT on power at all so recover battery...

hi bro, manual update using LG Flash Tool 2014. Everything I got from XDA forums including the flash tool, the lollipop phone image, and the instructions. was my first time flashing anything on an android phone since my original galaxy S in 2010

I am using just the Google Pinyin KB for both Chinese (handwriting & pinyin) and English input. Is there any advantage to also use Swiftkey to couple with Google KB?

Don't know how to tell you, but Swiftkey has even more useful features. Just awesome!

hi all, have an annoying problem to solve with my GP2.

when i connect my phone to my computer (Win 8.1) via USB and try to transfer files using windows explorer, the action will hang.

for example, i put in a fresh 64GB card today and wanted to transfer some files. So, i created a new folder called <mp3> in the card, using windows explorer. but, the screen hangs. here's a screenshot.

this lasts for almost 5 minutes, and then the folder gets created and i can continue.

how do i get around this? am i missing something?

Creating a new folder in the SD card directly is very very slow, at times, it hangs. So, don't do it that way.

Instead, create the folder in your computer hardisk first, then put in whatever files you want, and then move or copy the newly created folder from your computer hardisc to your SD card.
