How do you guys find the display on the G3?

How do you find the colour calibration, accuracy and reproduction? This is one of the important factors to me when buying a smartphone. I have read quite a few reviews on the G3's display and they don't really give the G3's display a favourable review.

According to Anandtech's review, too many compromises were made to outfit a QHD display on the G3. There is artificial sharpening on the display, the display is not very bright and colour accuracy is totally off.

This is a shame as I find the G3 to be a really great smartphone, display issues aside. Really hope these problems don't appear on the G4.

A simple visit to a telco for demo set will answer your own queries. Why would you want other's opinion when you can get your very own? LOL

Oh no. I must be one of the few users who really have no issues with this G3. I find the phone as fast as my G Pro 2. Only because I take out my specs to see the screen it is extremely sharp.

The camera is great. I guess I don't use my phone for gaming so no real issues. It's fine for most things.

No regrets dumping you Z2, it was my pleasure ;-)

Haha.. Me too sell off my z2 take g3..

Z2 heating problem. Also there's a guy using 4k video until his z2 back glass cracked. Never drop at all.. So scary..

Everyone sees things differently. It is better for you to see yourself.

Ultimately this is subjective and up to you.
I can see the over sharpening on my swift keyboard and some apps. But so what? I prefer sharp to soft.

I mean my brightness level is around 60% and I find it bright enough. I didn't find any overheating because apparently I'm not over pushing the limits of this phone.
You should really play around with the demo sets to see if you are OK with the screen.
I've read Anand's review, some things I agree but others I can't notice.
Ultimately even if he said this is the worse screen he's even seen (which he didn't) I wouldn't care as I've used it for a week and it's working perfectly fine for me.

With regard to color accuracy the S5 is way off, even worse than the G3, but that hasn't stopped people from buying. Ultimately it boils down to what you can live with.

I have mine set to 40% brightness and its just nice for me. Dont understand whats with some people complaining about the brightness. Those people will be blind soon. Yeah im enjoying the phone rather than reading all on negativity on the phone by other users.

I agree that the G3 is super bright at 100%. I am using it at 50% now with the lousy matte SP. once i changed it to clear glass SP, I may have to lower the brightness further.

Hahah just buy what we like and use it to the best of its capability. Other peoples' comments are all worthless if it ain't coming from ourselves :s13::s12:

S5 is a failure and everyone with some tech knowledge knows that. Didnt they fire the guy who designed the phone?

Don't know about that. But interesting enough, they using the same plaster design for their new tablets..
