I thought that you can activate the 3 options by swapping your finger up from the bottom middle screen starting from the OSB bar bah?

Then, choose the QuickMemo option which is usually the right icon/option?

For screenshot, pull down the notification bar on top and choose
QuickMemo (the one on the left). Essentially, they have moved the icon from below to the top.

What's the easiest way to do hard reset? Is there a backup which I can do? Cause usually when I hard reset I need to redo all my stuff like wall paper, widgets, apps etc.

I have the same thoughts. Still prefer the previous android way of notifications

Now it's either like ios where the messages are shown on lock screen or nothing at all.

In kitkat , we see a whatsapp sign on lock screen without details

Hard reset or not, up to you. I did not do so and I don't have any issues after the update.

If you have plenty of time, very free, reset it, and set up your phone all over again. Time consuming and troublesome...

If no time, live with it as long as the phone is performing well with no issue.

Some people encountered issues after a major update. So, they have no choice but to reset the phone.

Case by case basis and depends on individual luck bah..

i also realized after the update, whenever you click into one of the categories, got this fading effect and will take like 0.5 seconds to go into the category (like when you click on settings, got one grey color effect).

not sure if the delay existed before or not.

so any ideas on the haptic feedback for typing? i tried looking at languages and keyboard but don't have leh.

one way which i did was to create the LG backup and stored on my sd card

after the reset i juz restored it.

essential stuff for me was just the sms n whatsapp history.

calendar and contacts i synced to my google acc and i have a habit of storing everything on my sd card to facilitate porting over
