Nah that button swap that Samsung insist on annoys me
Button swap?

Nah that button swap that Samsung insist on annoys me

I think he meant the Back and Closing 'buttons' at the bottom, touchscreen if you must.

I see I see!
Isn't Samsung's layout the right way round? While LG's the opposite way around?
Tomato, Tomarto. It's the same to mod here.
Just takes alittle getting used to![]()

I don't think Samsung's layout is correct. Nexus phones, LG, Sony, Motorola, HTC have it in the correct order which is Back, Home and Recent Apps.
I guess it's because majority of people use Samsung so they think that's the correct layout for Android![]()

samsung and chinese brands like xiaomi, oppo etc like to reverse the button layout.
LG is actually following the correct button layout.
I google and saw there are some Nexus 5x with bootloop issues.Caved and bought a new nexus 5x (32gb) for $300. Snappier than g4 and stock Android <3. amazing that it's so much smoother than the g4 despite having less ram and the same processor. Camera isn't that much worse either. Hopefully it doesn't have a bootloop issue as well...

Yeah but alot less. I mean assuming the phone is different and seeing Google has its stamp on it.. and my really good prior experience from the Nexus 5, willing to take my chances haha. It's cheap anyway!
But but... Isn't the 5x made by lg :O
Haha yeah. But LG Nexus 5 was also made by them and it was pretty damn good. Anyway, i just collected my G4 from the service center. I spoke to their mobile supervisor named Shi Da who told me that all bootloop fixes from March onwards have yet to recur and he said I can quote him on that. Anyone here dio bootloop for second time after having a repair from March onwards?
March ah? That means 603 boards? Ok then I guess I shall wait for my 601 to bootloop then....
Yeah. but i think rabak man. I just read somewhere someone 606 board also got bootloop.

Have a feeling it's more than just replacing the motherboard that's required - so regardless of S/N, it might still possibly fall into a bootloop.
wah V20G
any brave soul wanna be guinea pig and test for us whether it finally fix the battery issue of V20C?![]()
