seems like Note 7 caught the bootloop issue from LG...can see from the comments on this picture: https://www.facebook.com/SamsungMob...01671497624/10154546382037625/?type=3&theater

"Got my phone from Samsung shop on Friday. First start and prompt to update firmware after updated everyday went fine. The next day all of a sudden phone when crazy and restart by itself for nothing. And now stuck in the Samsung logo. Care to explain why this is happening Samsung."

"I got my new Samsung Note 7 yesterday evening from online booking, after using smart switch to transfer all my apps over, this new Note 7 just died on me and cannot power up anymore !!!"

"The freezing and rebooting problem still persists after i have factory reset the phone. Can you make any official explaination for this issue? So many ppl are complaining Samsung Mobile Singapore"

Pokemon go is the killer of g4... i kana today. Phone frooze in pokemon go then bootloop.........

What's the latest version of the Android Security Patch level on the G4? Jan 2016? The G5 has patches up to end July which is good, but seems the G4 being left behind liao, which shouldn't be looking at this.

another visit to the LG svc centre. 4th time as a owner of a new g4 slightly past 12mths old (give it 13mths MAX as i bought it off someone who recon and sold it off).
cam when doing focusing (particularly MF and close up) will have buzzing sounds as tho the shutter broke loose and ball bearing vibration. and also with image on cam moving like seawave. i explaint to front desk and was told they can do a cam replacement n that would be the last wty repair they could honor as on paper my wty expired earlier this mth. worse part he sounded like i finding a fault to smoke them for wty repair as i didnt have enough time to replicate the problem at the desk. he also didnt really bother to find out more n only stated "cam sound when focus".
i went back to collect 1hr later and tested the cam. new one cant even get a close up image focused both in AF & MF, and the seawave problem worsen. rejected and was advised now suspeccted mobo faulty. nb!

btw i came in for lcd faulty with a line, bootloop mobo replaced, sd slot faulty mobo replaced and now this.

LATEST: confirm mobo faulty again. c b. going back to do backup and come back another day to hve the mobo replaced AGAIN for 3rd piece. btw was told mobo no stock now but have reserved 1 for me dont know izt real.

Had my mobo replaced yesterday for the 3rd time all due to different fault. Was there the past 2 days and did observe still quite a plenty walking in for boot loop issues.

Good to know fellow pokemon trainer using G4. I did see a few people using G4 at vivocity. Every night got at least 100 people there catching pokemon :s22:

i also use G4 to play pokemon go, mercifully my bootloop saga was half a year before the game because the phone already sucks enough at this game when working normally, let alone with bootloop risk. So much dropped frames and battery drain, reminds me why the camera is probably the only thing i really love about my G4.

talking about performance and battery, 2015 was really not a good year to buy a flagship, looking at snapdragon 808 and 810

my phone really jialat...today dunno restart how many times. wasn't even playing pokemongo. sometimes just doing simple things like scrolling down webpages, fb, etc. 3rd bootloop coming up?

yup...ironic thing is that phone dun hang very often playing pokemon but hangs more often when browsing websites or fb...will prob go for Nexus 6P if it dies eventually.

exactly where i am right now. if not for the camera and the specs 'on paper'....
very disappointing after getting into pokemon go.

My colleague just called me this early morning! Panic likes fxxk...!

His 1 year old's LG G4 suddenly bootlooping and finally died on him within 10 minutes...Asked me why ahh?" :s11:

I said to him "Well known problem! No need to talk any further! Just visit LG Service Centre and bang table, throw chairs asap...! :s13:

I have no problem with most pokemon that I have so far except Rapidash.
Golbat is also quite challenging.
