Probably due to the full re-design. The camera do get praised in most review though
- screen backlight bleed
- module cover gap
- no battery life improvement (the same 3.5hr SOT since the G3)
- decision to go with paint primer rather than anodization for colouring the phone, under the excuse to hide the antenna lines (other companies like HTC have antenna lines yet the phone design is still good)
- battery much harder to remove compared to the past due to the very firm lock
- camera lens is still lower quality compared to other phones, which results in strong lens flaring if you're too near a light source like lamp posts (admittedly this is a issue 99% of people wont notice)
- emphasis on modular design with a bad implementation (need to power off screen, remove battery)
- failed to advance on the V-10's strengths and actually
regressed backwards in some areas (weaker DAC, no manual mode video, no 60FPS 1080p, less durable due to the primer coating)
Of course it has a good camera still, but the competition has caught up since 2015. Now every flagship except sony can do manual mode.
