do you have a sense of urgency that need a new phone ASAP

to me I always feel that unless you're already set on a phone, its best to wait till all major flagships are out in the market then compare feedback/review. Except sony. Sony can die :s13:

My ex Mate 8 n current Mate9, 9 pro are all 4g/3g. Is indeed strange a new model as p9+ is 4g/2g. Did you activate your second SIM for 3g??

Well, I only made the exception since the ***** front hardware button has been removed for S8. No way will I consider S8 if that button is still there. Hated that damn button.

As for waiting? My contract ended 4 months ago and has been waiting for LG to release G6 since then. I was expecting LG to release it in late March/early April and not late April.

I have been using a 4 years ago low-end sony phone that lags like fk ever since my G4 died on me about a year ago. Am I in a hurry to change my phone? What do you think? :s8:

In any case, S8 will release later than G6, even though the former was officially announced in Singapore. Anyway, you will hear of the G6 official retail date after 2pm.

What I think is, if you can bear with the low-end sony phone for a year till now, why not wait for a while more to see and feel G6 first, before getting a new phone? But from your reply, I guess you are more lean towards S8 than G6. And if you really can't wait, S8 is the choice for you then.

The thing is that G6 will be out before S8. So he will have to wait longer for S8.
And before he go and buy S8, he would have had the chance to play with G6 already. So if he can't wait, he can buy other phones like P10 which is already launched.

All the phones will be launched within weeks of each other so just a little patience. The P10 plus will be next week. Likely the G6 well before the 21st.

Wah I'm very impressed by the G6 bend test! This is one damn solid phone. Needless to say much more durable than the S8 with all that curved glass and screen.
