Mine the opposite, the screen size of s8 and s8+ too big for my liking. Not to mention tempered glass for curved edge screen is not doable (correct me if I'm wrong. Cause I using s6 edge previously and couldn't find one for it). These were the factors to sway me off Samsung's boat

I guess it depends on what phone u are using preciously. I'm sure s7 equivalent people will be happy with g6/s8 size but there is quite a big difference compared to note equivalent phones.

wide angle low light shot, manual mode... its noisy ev 1/13 iso 1200.

cant really expect much since f2.2

But its not a deal breaker for me... i know there are phones which handle low light better like pixel but if i want a perfect low light picture, like some bro said, would use a dslr...no phones currently does as well.

Bro kelvinti, for sound quality G6 better or V20. :D

Discussed on post 544, http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/107354565-post544.html

- V20 delivers stronger boomier bass. The mids is also slightly elevated to sound warmer overall.
- G6 produces slightly clearer highs, possibly due to the recessed bass. The airiness is more apparent compared to the V20.
- Sound staging and instrumental separation are similar.

Don't know if should i go for g6 as currently using oneplus 3T..

I personally intending to go from OP3 to G6 soon because the camera quality of the OP3 very mediocre. But I don't expect to see any other performance gain.

You can always use manual mode to increase the shutter speed and decrease the ISO, so yes G6 can do low light better than Pixel with manual mode, but not in auto mode.

I'm fine with the camera thou. But im curious more about other performance gain.

Went down to meddle around and I'm quite like the screen display and screen size.

Not sure what kind of performance gain you're expecting from G6, since G6 is using the same SOC as OP3T with less ram and heavier skin. If you are fine with OP3T cam, you should stick to it, don't see any reason why you would want to switch to G6.

Thing is my phone usage is pretty intensive when I run my events... Whatsapp basically rings non-stop for 2-3 days so I barely have time to stop and charge...

Have been on G4 since it came out. Batt life was good then but have dropped like crazy since a few months back.

Hmm seems like for me, removeable battery is still best.

tbf the g6 comes with a 2-year warranty, meaning you could go to them when the battery life is going to **** to get them to change it...

I recontracted under cis and got $100 off.
The quad dac is pretty good with clear treble and the bass is sufficient.
