Whatever pipe does not matter to me. What I care is the phone continues to function as normal ever with my heavy usage pattern.
I'm sure. Still serves me well after 2 months... Awesome phone.Whatever pipe does not matter to me. What I care is the phone continues to function as normal ever with my heavy usage pattern.
Can confirm if the phone comes with separate slots for 2 sim cards and 1 micro sd card?
Instead of the usual hybrid sim/micro sd slots?
New G6 variants emerging. G6 Pro and G6 Plus to start selling in Korea by end Jun. Wondering if it will land in Singapore shore. Maybe that's the reason why the prices of existing G6 is dropping fast at other mobile shops. Latest I see is only $680 for brand new local sets.

It shouldn't overheat..even if it does, just go under a tap to cool it.

Still the best phone out there. Am having a S8+ as well.NOw G6 dropped to $680 only
Overheating not an issue to me..only install apps that is of good use to me. So far no rogue overheating apps yet.LG android OS not well optimized. too many apps installed will cause the phone to heat up easily. try brevent on playstore to improve the battery, overall make the phone faster too
Hi guys, just wanted to ask if anyone has had similar experiences with users on XDA forums where their phones' rear cameras cracked randomly without any impact or drop.
Am interested in the G6 but this issue is quite significant. Had a bootlooping G4 and wasnt very happy with customer service.
Also, wanted to ask if you guys have tried using the quad dac with normal earphones (am currently using a 3-driver Westones 3 which has a low impedance of 30) and if the difference is really significant for such low-impedance earphones.
Thanks!
Thank you for the tip. Will this method put stress and spoil the low impedance earphones faster?I think the bootlooping issues were most probably due to the flawed Snapdragon 808. Devices affected were G4, Nexus 5X, V10. Those devices all have one thing in common, the SD808. Heck, even some other brands using the 808 faced this issue.
About the DAC, high impedance mode will only be activated if >40 regardless. One roundabout is by using a simple 3.5mm jack extension (10cm), volume output will increase by 30% as the phone detects it as an external audio device. Tested and working.

But G3 have bootloop issue also right? And it uses 801 i think.

Nice. Is it just louder though, or quality increases in general as well? And would that put greater stress on the low impedance earphones?
Online got sell?Yes louder without any distortions. The cable extension you use plays a part tho. Went to those cable shops at sim lim. End up buying a $4 extension lol. Just ask those shops if you could try before buying.
Not bad la than buying huge cans just to play with high impedance mode
