If one is paying $598 to recontract for G6 outright, what's the benefit to recontract for S8/S8+, sell off and purchase G6 for $643/$593? Might as well just recontract with M1 for G6

You are just repeating what I am saying. I think people will know how to read the differences in prices. My value add in the analysis is the comparison of the G6 and V20. Your value add? Zero.

And please, I didn't suggest to recontract to buy S8/S8+ and sell off to buy G6 or V20.

It is just an analysis for people to make informed decision.

yes because USB is a universal serial bus

however fast charging may be another story. Adaptive Fast Charging is samsung's proprietary charging standard. LG uses the more common Qualcomm Quick Charge

The standards are similar. Samsung fast charger is recognised on Qualcomm QC2.0 devices.

Dual sim yes, DAC yes, wireless charging no (already asked and answered, please search before asking question next time).

I am not sure why you had the impression the CS is bad/service centre is terrible. I wouldn't say they are terrible/bad, just too many devices to fix and lack of manpower to go through them, hence quite slow.

E.g., I dropped my G6 at SC yesterday morning. I just went there this morning, but nothing was done yet, so asked them to return my device, since my seller has agreed to exchange 1-1 (just called me 6pm ytd).

Slow maybe, but bad, I don't think so. the CS was polite for my case.

Any past V20 users here? Do you find the screen too narrow and squeezy coming from the V20 to the G6? When I look at both phones side-by-side, I feel the V20's screen seems bigger and offers slightly more screen real estate. (As in can see more text when browsing the net, and youtube videos appear bigger thanks to the normal aspect ratio

V20 got bigger screen area. Stick with V20 if you want bigger screen.

That is a valid comment. After trying G6, the V20 feels really like a phablet, almost "too big". Never felt that way when I used V20 for months.

Yes, V20 screen is bigger because it is less longish. The advantage of G6 is that it fits better with a narrower design. If you really want a more usable large screen, then it needs to be broader.

Like to check for the G6 when you surf the internet and when you enlarge the page , does the G6 auto adjust the webpage to fill up the page or you need to scroll to the left or right to see the missing content due to the enlargement?
