Good lighting? If not good lighting, should use manual mode. LG image processing is not there yet.

Base on past incidents is 1 year start cranky liao, so still valid.

2 years ask again.

This is the first time they offered 2 years warranty for a phone so there is no past incident yet on 2 year warranty phone
Anyway, it is a long time to keep a phone for 2 years so we'll see

I bought the phone during launch (14 april) I did checked with the CS whether got special offer and she told me about the free TV.

I actually upgraded my plan from combo 2 to combo 3 for it. My miotv already out of contract for quite sometime so just re-sign lor.

Same here, I also upgrade my wife Starhub from combo 3 to combo 4 and renew the TV/Internet contract in order to get the free TV. The promo bundle also include free data up-size from the 3GB in combo 3 to 15GB for her.

That looks like out of focus. If you can't get focus at all, you may want to check with LG. Mine is certainly not as bad as that.

your image is very muddy, is the lens damaged? if not then it really is the camera's problem

i had a similar thing before on my old xperia Z1 compact when 1 corner of its lens got small scratches

Can see some scratches though it's new. Maybe it's the coating thing that some are complaining about.

No, they are not the same size. V20 got bigger screen area. Comparing diagonal length is not accurate anymore in determining screen area with different aspect ratio.

Well there you have it, root cause identified. Only thing is just be mentally prepared LG may not cover this under warranty as it can be deemed as 'cosmetic damage' meaning any new lens cover you gonna have to pay for it.

By the way to avoid such things its usually a good idea to keep the phone in a place where it doesnt contact with any metal objects like keys, since they may cause scratching like that.

They are the same diagonal. Not the same size.

If u are familiar with math and pythagoras theorem, comparing any 2 rectangles that have the same diagonal, the one whose ratio of width to length is greater, will have the smaller area.

In this case 18:9 is a 2:1 ratio, while 16:9 is a 1.78 to 1 ratio

whatever the case may be, up to u whether u can live with that kind of photo quality or not. Am just stating the facts on the lens damage and warranty coverage so u can consider if u are willing to potentially pay for a fix or save yourself a trip to service centre

i had the coating wear issue on my old G4 too, and went through 3 lens cover replacements, i bought my own replacements from ebay cos the replacement was still doable thanks to removable back, and the price from the service centre was way higher ($48 if i recall)
