I'm really looking forward to this phone but I don't think this phone will come out anytime soon as there are no release date anywhere in Asia(well except for South Korea).

LG marketing strategy has been such as they explained
with reasons like testing the processor and the latest version
of Android for problems etc.

However it is also a period where they gather information
for suitable pricing that potential consumers are willing to
pay bearing in mind the small market here.

Yes that is the same kind of reply given by the management.
It could be true that - a period is given where they
gather information and feedback to aid them to
give suitable pricing that potential consumers are willing to
pay. Just be patient and don't get too excited about the
phone. Look at G5 results.

if you can wait, its better to wait

LG flagship prices always drop pretty fast so from an economical standpoint, waiting a few months is more worthwhile

It also gives more time for the accessory market to remember that LG exists, back when my mother got the G5 it took over half a month before I could find screen protectors for her phone

I can only wait til the end of next month and next month is where my contract ends. So hopefully it will come out by then.
Heard it will come out in US by the end of this month but not sure for Asia.

This phone has the "quietest" release ever lol first time (that i can think of) a phone is launched with 0 information on pricing and availability

same... now looking for replacement...current ones heat up fast and lose battery fast... and it hang too... if got removable battery or faulty battery easier to solve it when warranty expire

If it really release in the US on 21 Oct together with the resale note 7, I think sg gonna get it next year like what they did with the v10.
LG really failed in pushing out their product earlier to compete rather than releasing together with their competitors.

LG missed a golden window, with Samdung Exploding Phone, best time to get some new Android users but they delay delay delay
