guys i heard from the salesman that with this high spec of LM7600 3D, we will need a better at least 1.4 HDMI cable to bring out the best of the TV ?
is this true?

do we really need to fork out 100+ to get this cable?

Get from Amazon, dirty cheap! Plus shipping about 20-30 only. The sales man tried to get me to buy the 300plus monster cable. Haha

Hi,
I just got my New LG 42" smart TV for my bedroom.
I'm wondering if any of you guys know how much is the magic remote & if it's worth buying?
I've notice the LG have it's own type of HDMI connector apart from the normal one. Is it worth buying this as well??
Thanks

eBay even cheaper. Many are below S$15 including shipping with good quality.

You dont really need it, this model support wireless keyboard/mouse. Is easier to type and move round using keyboard/mouse.

This is also good choice

Wanted to get a replacement.

Any recent updates on where can get 42LM6410 at $900?

The saleman at courts still dare to tell me $1099, no diff from Megatex.

What's the diff between 42LM6700 and 42LM6410, in terms of specs and pricing.

HN salesman told me all series except 8600 and 9600 are made in Malaysia. Just bought the 47" 7600 on sun. Promo price is $1799 comes with 3d bluray player and standard LG gift. I do not want the 3d bluray player therefore the revised price is $1688 and the sales also throw in a v1.4 HDMI cable. overall, i think is best buy.

Press the Simplink button on ur remote to "pair" ur TV volume control to ur HTS... i think that should work... and make sure ur HDMI is at least 1.4 to use the ARC function...

I also have this issue of no sound on my Pioneer HTS with the HDMI cabale connected.
When using dvd on my HTS i can get the sound but while watching TV it doesn't work, sound can only come out from the TV.
My HTS can't use optical cabale for audio thus this option is out.
Saturday the tech is coming to check as i've tried all type of cable and it doesn't work.

the ARC will not work on your Pioneer, I owned a Pioneer reciever as well. Technicians from Pioneer and LG came to my place before when these TVs are still new products at that time, as I'm facing the same problem as you. After doing all sorts of testing/troubleshootings, both parties confirmed that they do not recognise each other (handshake).

ARC is only good for thier own brand equipments. Even for some other brands like Samsung or Sony as well. Some time you may get lucky if it recognise your other brand equipments.
