I was at Courts Megastore today hoping to see the new TVs but none. The entire Samsung collection was empty instead. Probably we might see the new Samsung TVs first.

Gain City in Marina sq has the 2013 series. I just bought 42" LA6620 at $1200 there. Initially bargain until $1350, but in the end I bought Aircon from them and they gave me an $150 gain city voucher to offset the TV price. So happy

the upgraded series is not worth to upgrade imo, and to me 47" tv is too big for my living. Budget wise also not worth to upgrade too.

I'm aiming the 47LA7400 of the 2013 series.. I already know how much BD will be selling when it launch. According to the sales rep, stock already in but not at showroom

If 2012, should be able to get it for much lower as they need to clear the stock.

its me.. my opinion its a good TV and liked the 3D (2D-3D conversion) feature. not sure about the price now... Actually I price match with Mega Discount store (bought from courts for $2299 + $300 voucher), when they price match (S$1899) they don't care about the vouchers

when i turn on power at main plug the tv will auto on,by right i should need to use remote to on so the tv will power up right?

did update firmware (official or bet) recently?

try clear the power cache:

1. power on the TV
2. goto standby mode
3. power off the main plug
4. keep on pressing the power button until the LED go off
5. wait for 10-20 sec
6. then turn on and see.

if still auto on then time to call LG.
